Wonderful place.

I've been a patient of Strax for a while now, had a smart lipo in two different areas, just went back for fillers and I'm scheduled to have a tummy tuck, I've have a wonderful experience so far and hope to continue that way so I can keep going back in the future, I've referred friends and family and they all had a good experince and would go back if they ever wanted another procedure. I've had different doctors, Dr Nees did a great job even though his attitude is not the greatest, Dr Goldberg was very nice and plays loud music during his prodecudes but it really didn't bother me that much.Some family and friends have gone with Dr Doung and were very happy, so that's who is doing my next procedure. My advice is that no matter where you go a misake can be done, just trust your instint and don't let any good or bad review influence you, just research the doctor that's what really matters. Strax is a very clean place, I will comment after my procedure.Good Luck to everyone....

Strax is the Worse

Hello everyone, I just wanted to warn anyone that is considering going to Strax Rejuvenation. Do not go there. I had a bad experience with Dr. Gordon, I had a tummy tuck spent $4800 in Feb 09,and now my stomach looks worse than it did before I went in. When I confronted Dr. Gordon he started yelling back at me and called someone else to explain that I would need smartlipo and this was after 4 mos. post op. Ive always been a small petite woman by the way so he agreed he needed to do a revision after I would have to pay for smartlipo. I left so upset and swore I would never go back. If anyone wants to do something against this comp. (I'm in)

STRAX REJUVENATION: DON'T RISK YOUR LIFE !!!

If there is anyone out there has used STRAX REJUVINATION based out of Broward Florida I'd like to share my story with you and see what we can ......do as a group to avoid this from happening to anyone else. Why is this place so dishonest?

I don't understand how this place is still open? They keep messing people's lives and the "nurses" if you can call them like that are very rude and short. Thank God I read and hear all this things about the place before doing anything with them, otherwise I would have been crying and who knows what defect I would have.

bad breast aug

i'm 23 yrs old and i had a breast aug done at strax by dr. goldberg in feb 09. looking back now it seems like a nightmare, until i take my clothes off and realize that it was real and i hate my breasts even more now then before the surgery. when i first went i was so excited about the low prices and thats pretty much all that kept going through my head. my consultation went ok and all i had to do was wait for my tax return to come in so that i could pay for the procedure. well i went back for my pre op and thats when i started to realize how rude some of the girls that work there were. my fiance even said he had a bad feeling and that i shouldn't get the surgery there. well again i was still trying to save money. well i came back the following wk for the surgery. they gave me a pregnancy test then sent me to a room that was full of curtains with girls behind each one. its creepy now that i think about it. after putting my gown on they came and gave me my meds. 2 valium, 4 percocets, and the antibiotic. about 20 min later the dr came in to draw on my breasts, well at that point i couldn't even stand up. they took me into the operating room and he turned up his radio soo loud and starting singing along. well i opted to stay awake during surgery since the option was available to me. i was actually excited about that. well for some reason i imagined my 2 c sections and the fact that i didn't feel anything. so he started jamming a needle of lidocaine into my breasts to numb the area. this happened about 15 more times. i remember screaming to the top of my lungs like i was being murdered. it hurt soo bad!! he started yelling at me and telling me to stay still. i don't know who could stay still during pain like that. the nurse ended up coming over to me and tying my arms down. i just cried until the surgery was done. the pain was insane. i fell asleep afterwards. i was woken up by them telling me it was time to go. they put me in the wheelchair and on the way to the car i started vomi ting everywhere. she handed me a bag for the car ride. on the way home i threw up about 3 times. when i got home and my fiance helped me out of the car he noticed that i had vom it all over me. the bag she gave me had holes in it. ok well my breasts both have a double bubble which could have been avoided during surgery, and every time i showed the dr at the followups he said that it was not a double bubble and tried to say it was normal. i went to another dr and he told me that indeed it is a double bubble. every time i went for the follow ups the nurses were so rude and short with me and dr was even more short with me. horrible experience!! i am now waiting for my credit to get a little better and i will try to pull a loan out to see a diff doc. plzzzzz do not go there. i hope enough ppl do research and don't go and the place will shut down. oh last thing, when i went to the other dr he told me that strax used to be called something else a few yrs back, the place was sued so many times that they changed the name of it to attract more ppl and make them believe it is a diff place w diff docs.

STRAX NEEDS TO BE SUED R U IN

I DID A TUMMY TUCK W/LIPO & AM SCARED FOR LIFE, 2 OPEN INCISIONS WITH 3-KNOW BATERIAS TO DATE AND THEY LFT A SPONGE/SWABS IN BELLY BUTTON FOR OVER 2-MONTHS THAT WERE INFECTED W/PUSS AND I HAD TO DEMAND THEY REMOVE BECAZ THEY KEPT DENYING. DRANK CIPRO 2 TIMES, KEFLUX 2TIMES, ROSEFAN SHOOTS 3 TIMES ALL OF WHICH HAVE SERVIOUS SIDE AFFECTS. JOIN ME IN A GROUP TRIAL AGAINST THESE PEOPLE AND MAYBE WE CAN CLOSE THEM DOWN FOREVER, THEY ARE A BUTCHER SHOP BOUND TO DESTROY PEOPLE EMOTIONALLY AND PHYSICALLY. The worst place to go

Most of the negative reviews here are truth. I was reading the comment from

BARBARSWAY, she said the following:

Clearly if you have economic difficulties you should NOT be getting cosmetic surgery. Your opinion is valid but your rudeness to people who want to share a positive experience is NOT.

By the way, I am American, raised here, not a "chica" and hold a PHD...so please leave your comments at the door--you clearly can't afford this type of work. By the way, when people say one is "rude" it is usually their own issues by the way of intimidation.

Obviously she works there and it's very unethical for her doing this, specially knowing the the majority of the people complaints about the place, so SHAME ON YOU BARBARA. I agree,the place is not what they describe.

I went to straxx for a consultation. 1 word: dishonest

I am sure everyone here has already heard the radio ad. straxx will meet or beat any board certified surgeons quote. ya right!

I went to straxx after hearing an ad on the radio. I went in and was given a quote for 6500 then I went to 3 different centers and got 2 quotes that were lower than straxx(5300 lowest).

I was given a million reasons why they can't honor their own advertisement(meet or beat any board certified quote) which didn't make any sense at all.

So, if they are not honest now I can only imagine what will happen if you run into a problem after the surgery.

btw, I wasn't going around shopping for the lowest price I was just "seeing" what options I had.

If I would have checked this page out, there is no way in hell I would have gone to straxx because 42 people can't be wrong.

one person said that anyone can leave feedback because all he needs is an email address.

So, if that were the case why is straxx the only cosmetic center with so many negative feedbacks?
