Check out 'The Babe' now! It is newly expanded with dance floor, more room and tables. It has not lost that intimate New Orleans feel and the menu has new items and is delectable. And, no more smokiness! 2 years in a row they have been awarded a place in the top 500 restaurants in Florida by Robert Tolf and the Golden Spoon Awards. Rolling Stone included them in their Anniversary Issue for their music. And yes, everyone will know your name, what you drink and your favorite menu item...They boil up live Louisiana crawfish that will kick your taste buds. If you work or live close enough they are delivering lunch to your door now. Thank you to the two people whose reviews turned me on to this fabulously fun and yummy place.
- Pros: Food, Music, Value
- Cons: Dance Floor small, no reservations
overspiced and inedible

This was our first time eating here. The restaurant had a bar atmosphere with karaoke (saturday night). The service was friendly and slow. There were 3 of us total so I will give a run down off all our meals. Our appetizers were pretty awful which should have forewarned for the dinner entrees...There was no seafood to be found in the crab and shrimp jalepeno poppers. The rice was extremely over cooked in the red beans and rice. The etouffee was was spiced with something overpowering and strange which made it inedible (they were nice enough to remove it from the bill even after we insisted on paying). The muffeletta was covered in minced garlic. Finally, the ribs were on special and they were very good as were the fried potato slices.
- Pros: lots of parking, friendly service
- Cons: food was awful
Cajun, Florida style

Great food, reasonable pricing (definitely check out the specials). At times it can get cramped and a little too smoky (on weekends when the bands are playing) but during the week it's a great place for lunch or dinner (a hidden gem if you ask me). Get yourself some real cajun and live crawfish (awesome) in season.
- Pros: Great Food, Friendly Staff, Good Music
- Cons: Sometimes Smoky, Crowded Weekends
