Excellent food, interesting service

My Husband and I love to go here when we want a special night. Their food is unbeatable-filled with traditional flavor, tender, and presented beautifully. The atmosphere is dark and quiet, with colorful fish tanks. Unless there is a loud table near you, you can definitely have quiet romantic conversation with no problem. The prices are average--$13 for pad thai and some chicken dishes.
One thing I have never understood was the service. They are all mostly polite. I wish I could understand them better when they rattle off the long specials in the beginning. I feel bad because the guy is usually speaking for 2 minutes about the specials! Also, if you try to order cheap, they will usually push you to order more. Also, at times we have had servers who were TOO present at the table. It seems every time they walk by, they ask you if you need something. It's a nice change from most restaurants, but not when you just want to have an intimate quiet evening, and you're constantly getting interrupted. I think what i'm trying to say is they need to find the proper balance between being attentive, and visiting too much. Only 2 of our waiters have been like this, though. You may not have this problem at all.
Overall, I would recommend this restaurant for a special evening!
Terrible service

Overwhelmingly the most terrible service I have ever experienced anywhere. Although having reservation, could not get any seat! Not so nice surprise after travelling from Lake Worth by taxi.

This restaurant has it all. Atmosphere, decor, friendly knowledgeable staff, fantastic menu selection and superb, absolutely superb food. Do not miss this restaurant if you're in the area, and like Thai food.
NO SEPARATE CHECKS!

Excellent food, presentation, service (most times) and setting; HOWEVER, the company does not do separate checks. I was there for lunch with four co-workers and the manager came to our table and said they didn't separate checks because it was too time consuming for the waiters. What a joke! At least give a valid reason, would you? It wasn't that any of us couldn't have paid the entire bill individually, it was the principle! How can you provide a service to the public and have such a ludacris policy AND no signs posted stating such? THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT. We ended up getting separate checks, the waiter 'copped' an attitude and I will NEVER give Thai Spice another penny!
- Pros: excellent food
- Cons: very limited parking
One of my favorites!

I consider myself a Pad Thai aficionado and this place delivers! The lunch menu offers great selection and prices! If trying Thai food for the first time, try the pad thai, ask for it medium hot (if you like spicy) as "hot" will get your mouth on fire! Wash it down with the sweet Thai iced tea which they have perfected and its what Thai food is suppose to be! A little heat tempered with something sweet.
- Pros: Food, Ambiance, Servcie
- Cons: Parking, Location

I finally dragged my parents to Thai food and this was a great choice! They loved it, I loved it. Great little restaurant with helpful staff and really good food. The chicken with cashews and fresh ginger beef were incredibly yummy! Great prices.
- Pros: Food, Prices, Pecan Pie
- Cons: ?
Decent Thai

Overall a good night out. As far as south Florida Thai restaurants go, I'd say it rates a 9, but in the big scheme of things, maybe a 7. It's in a strip mall, which seems to be the norm, but once you are inside, you quickly forget where you are at. Service was relatively prompt, but they flat out forgot to bring 6 of our 10 guest's salads and started bringing entrees out before the mistake was realized. This mistake was compensated by deserts at the end of the evening, but still... Food was all in all really good. I typically enjoy hot food and found the second from the hottest, "hot," to be just about that. Makes your lips tingle, but not so unbearable that you can't enjoy the meal. Will I go back? Very likely, but I'd probably save it for a rainy day.
- Pros: Good Food, Friendly Staff
- Cons: , Strip Mall
Great Thai

For a little while the food (flavor) seemed to be on teh down swing here but over the past 6 mos it is right back up there. A simple dish like chicken with black pepper and garlic shouldnt be this good! Best spring rolls I have had. Great thai soups (bursting with lemon grass flavor). Nice atmosphere but usually crowded (they are expanding into the next store thankfully). Get reservations...this place is busy cause they deserve to be. Great service.
- Pros: Excellent Food, Great Service, Good Ambience
- Cons: Crowded, Somewhat Pricey, Small Parking Lot
