Bill's Birds is exactly what the name implies. It's a store that specializes in birds, accessories, cages, and food for birds.

This shop offers the bird owner a source of extensive knowledge in bird care. They are eager to share information on bird care, breeding and handling. They have a great selection of foods and treats to please any bird fanatic.

They are more expensive than the larger, nationally known chains. But, you get personal service so it's worth it.

As a bird owner for years, I find I obtain helpful information from Bill's. Anytime I have a question or concern, I drop in or pick up the phone. They are interested in providing the best service.

Need a friend? Think about getting a bird. If you don't want one that talks back, ask Bill for a quiet bird.

PROS: Personal and caring service.

CONS: More expensive than large, nationally known chain stores.

DON'T BUY!!!! HORRIBLE!!!!!

Bills Birds is probably the worst bird store on the face of the planet. The owner Bill and his son Nathan are crooks. They will tell you just what you want to hear to buy a bird from them. If you were to ever ask them how old a bird was, they would say under 1 year. If you were to ask them where they got the bird, they would say a breeder. The reality is, most of their birds are second hand birds. They are birds that have been abused and neglected and are now being sold as if they were young birds who have never had an owner. If you look at their birds, most of them are aggresive, scared to death of human interaction, and plucking their own feathers. The store is filthy and overcrowded with birds. These guys also handle their birds horribly. They have no problem grabbing a bird by the neck and just throwing them in the cage like they were meat. When handfeeding, they basically grab the baby bird, and push a full syringe of food down their throat as fast as they can. I cannot believe these people are still in business. These guys are basically bird pimps. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE listen to my warning. DO NOT BUY FROM BILL'S BIRDS!!! You are better off buying from a private breeder and getting a bird that has just been weaned. Don't even buy a canary from this place. If you don't listen and still buy from them, all I can say is: I TOLD YOU SO!!!!!!!!!!!

• Pros: Absolutely none.
• Cons: Everything about the place. These poor birds are being mistreated and abused.
