Not a good take out experience.

Just got done with a take out meal from this diner and I don't think I'll be going back. Ordered two gyros (with fries I did not want but they don't do ala cart) side of hummus with pita bread, and onion rings. Ok now to the problems. The fries were almost wet soggy and not edible. The hummus tasted okay... but was to thin and runny. They gave me ONE pita for all the hummus and even if it was good I wouldn't be able to eat more then 6 bites haha.. WTF. The Gyros.. ok the meat is good but the overall gryos was below average (i mean miami subs makes a better one which isn't saying much.) the tomatoes were not good and had to take them off. The tzadsiki sauce was great but there wasn't anything else on the gyros.. really plain but i did eat it (i mean i was hungry). The onion rings ohhhh the onion rings.. they were actually done very well... but of course there is a but.. they were the frozen out of the bag kind so nothing special there. I don't mean to be harsh but that is a verbatim account of my meal. Hopefully this can help the management fix the problems they are having over there. Maybe I'll try them again in a year or so.

A well kept secret. I jewel among the glitz of Ft. Lauderdale. The owners are well aware of the diners need to relax and enjoy. The crab cakes are to die for. The signature lobster bisque is nirvana. The resturant is small and inviting. The staff is attentive and invisable at the same time. The main courses are a gastronomical adventure in fine dining. Breakfast and lunch are original yet the ultimate in comfort food. Besides they do deliver to the Shubert Hotel across the street.
- Pros: intimate, delicious, charming
