We recently dined at Sunfish Grill & absolutely loved it. I thought that the atmosphere was great & everything we ate from our appetizers to our desserts was delicious!! The new location is bigger & the service was excellent. I would definitely recommend Sunfish to anyone I know. We will be going back very soon.
- Pros: Excellent dining experience!
- Cons: Maybe parking but that's about it!

Sunfish Grill is a very nice, classy restaurant. The decor is wonderful and they specialize in seafood. The food is a little pricey, but worth a visit.
Overrated Restaurant in Fort Lauderdale

This restaurant is so overrated that I had to write this review. We found the menu to be limited and the food to be absolutely tasteless. Also, no shellfish? I had the fillet (recommended) which was average at best and over-cooked. My husband had the grilled swordfish with risotto and both lacked any flavor to speak of. The service was slow and the decor is just ok. With one glass of wine and no dessert, for two people the bill was 135.00 w/out tip. A total waste of money and time.
- Pros: Nothing good to say!
- Cons: Everything was terrible!
Sunny decor and well-prepared seafood will warm your heart.

The Scene
Park the car and leave the world behind. Sunfish Grill is a cozy spot with dappled, coral-colored walls, neat white tablecloths and the pungent aroma of garlic filling the air. It might be small, but it certainly is popular, so don't forget to make reservations and don't go too late--the restaurant tends to run out of specials, some of its most exciting dishes.
The Food
This is the spot for fine, fresh, intelligently prepared seafood. Sunfish soup, made and priced daily, is a rich, buttery crayfish-based bisque, almost a meal in itself. Sweet-tasting grilled lobster arrives on a bed of tender, mushroom-flecked risotto; penne with Gulf shrimp and broccoli rabe is an inventive and intriguing melange of contrasting textures and tastes. For dessert, the Key lime pie topped with singed meringue turrets is subtle, creamy and utterly luscious.

The seafood was excellent, fresh and well prepared. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. One of the finest restraunts I have eaten in anywhere in the world.
- Pros: excellent service, superb food, good value
- Cons: small and crowded, parking not the best, needs better ventiliz
