Great food and service

I was looking for a restaurant based on the location to ease the driving for our friends who were meeting us for dinner. It was Friday night, I read the reviews and felt I was taking a chance. Well it was great, we met at the bar and it was 2 for 1 from 5-7pm when my friends arrived they brought us to the table on the water, service, sunset, food everything not one complaint. The veal chop was incredible. We enjoyed the atmosphere so much we stay until they closed talking an catching up with our friends and not once did they try to get us to release the table…hats off and I would recommend this place.

• Pros: The Veal Chop!
• Cons: Charge to park the car

Avoid Bakery

It's a great idea and a great location but AVOID this place on Thursday nights! The night manager is rude to customers. I have seen him confront CUSTOMERS in the parking lot and treat them awful while they are trying to leave?!?! He is crazy and does not care about the business. I can only imagine what he is doing to their food. Think about that the next time you bite into a gooey pastry (yuck)!

• Pros: There are plenty of other great places nearby
• Cons: Manager, he openly disrespects customers, who knows what he is doing to the food

Poor poor service

We had a party of 13, a 400 bill and the waitor would not split the bill for us as he told us it would take too long. An hour and a half later, and then being charged 40% tip, the waitor nor management tried to soothe the problem over. I don't know how a business succeeds with this service. The food wasn't that good either - the desert I would eat any day but any restaurant can take desert out of the box. DON'T EAT HERE. Also, they didn't even have my reservation that I made a month prior on file.

went on recommendation of concierge at newport beachfront hotel. food was beyond expectations. portions were generous.
