NEVER GO HERE!!

I'm not even sure where to begin, so i'll keep this short. My Latin American father, my indian friend, and my mexican friend walked into the bar and were immediately treated with disdain. the bartender was pissed off we came into his bar, and his really fat redneck friend called us names and threatened us. I am white, which shouldn't matter, but i was horrified. We kept completely to ourselves and were completely and constantly polite. It was scary to see this in 2010. We were eventually forced to leave the bar. The ladies we were sitting next to were also horrified. It was disgusting and shameful.

What is up with all these bad reviews??? These people need to get laid or take a lick off their xanax salt block.. Environment is echlectic, water view is amazing with pet Jacks and other fish to feed while you sip a cold beer and wait for your Burger to be cooked to perfection.. If you want a 60 sec garbage burger, go to fast food. For God's sake, how long does it take you to Grill a 1lb burger? I found the server's pleasant, fun and quirky attitude makes for entertainment.. Dirty??? go have a picinic on dirt , then you can complain.. The meal was amazing, I could not stop enjoying the Burger. Joe the server was as professional as they come.. I mean what theF#@*ck ?? You sit down, order the meal, get a drink and enjoy life.. You want atmosphere?? Come here, you want fast food without? take your whiney ass's home and micro some soup and sit in the closet where no one will bother you... I rate this place a 10!

They don't want your business

This place is the worst, they treat their customers horribly, like they cant be bothered with serving you. 1 1/2 hrs. waiting on a quiet night with lots of empty tables and still no sign of our burgers!!! The owner's response when we said we weren't going to wait anymore?? "Fine I'll give 'em to someone else". The waitress even said she hated the place, that should tell you something. I'll never go there again

Dirty Restaurant & Rude Employees - "I CAN KICK YOUR ASSES"

I was in Le Tub with my mother in law, and 9 months pregnant wife. We ordered 2 beer, one coke(for my wife), seafood salad, and a burger, after waiting 25 min on a dirty table which had food left overs from the previous clients. We placed our order, then started to wait. It was more than one hour wait time after the first 25 min, then I saw they were serving almost the same food we ordered to the next table, they placed their order after us.

I asked our waiter to explain this situation, then another waiter who (Steve) was serving to next table jumped in and start to yell at us. I asked him to let me listen our waiter's explanation first, he kept yelling at us..he yelled "I CAN KICK YOUR ASSES OUT" .. I could not believe my ears. Our waiter kept apologizing for his behavior, and offered us to cover the drinks while we were leaving the restaurant. I paid for the drinks and left with my pregnant wife, and her mother who came from Europe a couple days ago.

What a night!

I have been living in Hallandale/Hollywood area for 10 years. I know how restaurant business work from my own experiences. This is the worst behavior I have ever seen...

best burger in the world & don't forget the seafood salad

the servers are great, so are the cooks, the bartenders are the bomb...been going for yrs, everytime I get to South Fl.,It's not a visit w/o Le Tub...If you're lucky enough to get a seat by the Intercoastal water way. many interesting water craft go by.... but .watch out for the seagulls..they are thieves..lol

Service- Mean, Rude, Unfriendly and servers little slow in the head.

Waited an hour for a table. Got a table, waited 30 minutes and left. No service. Asked two servers for menus and they said someone would be with us when they could. NObody came. In fact, two others tables came and left while we waited. Rude unfriendly service. We left with the 10 bucks the table before us left as a tip. Though it was worth it since we had to bus our own table!

Maybe that's why your still a server at 45.

Burger NIGTHMARE!!!

1.The service is horrible? when we arrived we asked if they had a high chair for my 11 month old, the server yelled at us: ?don?t you know how to read? this is not a restaurant?. Also the server was very disrespectful with our Latino guest? because they had a little trouble pronouncing, and he keep hurrying them.

2.The wait is ridiculously long? we went a Thursday at 2 pm, and had to wait for 1 ? hour for the food.

3.The place is filthy and disgusting? since we could not put the baby anywhere, we put her on top of the table. In 5 minutes her clothing was literally gray from the dirt on the table? We all had our elbows stained with filth. The place had dust in every corner. I guess the owner could care less since the decoration is a bunch of used and filthy toilets.

4.The food is HORRIBLE!!! After the 1 ? hour wait we expected a fabulous meal? well all of our 1 pound burger(they actually are 1 pound) were burned on the outside? and still had red on the inside. After one bite, I ate only the fries because for me the burger was not edible. It was tasteless!

5.Too EXPENSIVE for burgers! We paid $120 for 5 burgers, 5 bottles of water and 2 sides of fries. And an 18% tip is included for 5 or more people.

6.DISRESPECTUFULL SERVERS!!! Since our afternoon was very disappointing and the server was too disrespectful through our meal we decided to leave only 15% of the tip? so the server came out screaming at us in the parking lot, he wanted an explanation, which we gave, and he kept harassing us? he even told us to never come back there (we wont go back? even if they pay us to eat there!!) We just think he should be grateful we paid and left him 15% tip after that horrible meal.

IT'S A BEACH BAR PEOPLE

It may be damp or even wet, It is mostly outside so there are insects & birds. In Florida insects are EVERYWHERE especially outside. The place is made from flotsam & jetsom the owner found on the beach, including the tables & benches so it is a rough keys type atmosphere. You can get there by boat & this is when cold beer tastes best, - there is NO draft beer.

If you're a clean freak, if you're in a hurry, if you don't like insects, lizards or birds, if you don't like to wait, if you want your behind kissed, if you want fine furniture, crystal, silver and gourmet food, DON'T come to LE TUB.

They do have food & yes it's expensive. They have a kitchen that is 4'x6' - maybe. With ONE cook & ONE bartender & a huge local customer base so everyone has to wait. Everyone.

They do NOT take reservations, credit cards or large parties. They do NOT have HIGH CHAIRS. They are a beach bar.

The servers are overworked and underpaid so they do not have time to do anything but take your order & bring your food. If you want water you have to get up & get it yourself from a huge orange cooler on a table in the garden. It is cold & it is free.

I personally have only occasionally had to wait an hour for food & that was on a Friday or Saturday night, a Sunday afternoon, or a holiday. You have to wait at many places at these times. Le Tub is a pleasant place to wait as it's on the water & you can watch the boats pass by while being caressed by soft Caribbean breezes. You can relax & watch spectacular sunsets while drinking yummy marguerites.

I have had great burgers & fabulous steaks. I have also had dry burgers & tough steaks. No one gets it right 100% of the time.

I had to laugh about the tourist trap comment. Clearly the tourists don't care for for the place but we are locals & my husband and I have been going to LE UB for 20 years & we love it. It's a place to slow waay down, relax & enjoy life.
