Very Expensive and very crowded place

This place is so expensive for the kind of food they have. Nothing special in the menu that worth the price. They serve too much, that's true. We order some brownie with ice cream for $16 and it was huge but if you share you must pay $1 for e/a. We ended up paying like $20 for some ice cream dessert for the three of us and it was not such a unique thing. The place was very crowded, not too much space between the tables, the people who serve you are not nice, most of the kids machines in the outside doesn't work and the location of the place is not very good. In other words, if you live near by, its ok to get an ice cream in the outside but if you live far away it doesn't worth the trip.

Best Ice Cream in South Florida!

I drive up from Miami just to have some of this deliciously, creamy, smooth and bursting with flavor Ice Cream! They never disappoint and the quality is always consistent. I thoroughly enjoy spending my money in businesses that showcase happy people having a great down to earth time celebrating the simplicity of life. Jaxson's Ice Cream has been a staple of True South Florida Culture for over 50 years. I just discovered them only 5 years ago and I am hooked. I have brought everyone from children, teens, North East visitors, Hispanics, blacks, college students, etc. Everyone always returns because they feel welcomed in addition to enjoying a remarkably full flavored ice cream made with genuine ingredients without cutting corners. Jaxon's Ice Cream is hands down the best!!! There are other great Ice Cream Parlors in South Florida including some really tasty Gelato places, but none come close to the genuineness of American Culture and a finely created American treat under one roof. Drive over to Jaxson's and enjoy American Life at its Best.

One Time

Crowded, grouch for greeter. Older strip shopping center. Always being bumped into. Dirty. Stand in line outside - no room to stand inside without being run over by wait staff. Anyone that thinks that the ice cream is good here - after getting through the heaps of whipped cream needs to have themselves checked out. Food menu looked generic and right off the food suppliers inventory list. No real individuality noticed. Tables and chairs are too close together, constantly bumped into from several directions. I'd give no stars if it was an option

this is ice cream! it doesn't taste like any kind of store bought brand-it taste better! great for kid parties-i recceomend the kitchen sink ;-)

Excellent Ice Cream, crammed restaurant, and dirty facilities.

I grew up with Jacksons and it has always been a treat to go and have ice-cream there. I moved out of State and 20 years later came back and had to have some Jacksons ice-cream. The place had not changed. The same piano, antique nick-nacks, the atmosphere had not changed. However, I was shocked to find the restaurant so filthy. The antiques had dust and cobwebs hanging off of them. The floor was filthy with food and crumbs. The restrooms were apalling (remember the restrooms are the business card of any restaurant). To top that off, I had lipstick marks on my disgusting plastic water cup that was as old as the establishment. I think that the management must do something about the cleanliness of its restaurant before the department of health does. I was disgusted and will never go back again! YUCK!!!

BEST ICE CREAM PEROID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was born and raised in Florida so I know Jackson's is a real treat. They have been here for ever. When I was a kid we would often go there for dinner first (ICE CREAM) then go else where for dessert which was the family joke. Their icecream is PHENOMENIAL. The BEST EVER. They are so part of Florida history. I often take my niece and nephew there so they can enjoy this landmark in our beautiful state as I did; and I know they will take their kids there too.

A GREAT FUN PLACE FOR OLD AND YOUNG ALIKE.

JAXSON'S IS MORE THAN JUST ICE CREAM (WHICH IS GREAT) IT ALSO HAS THE BEST

HAMBURGERS AND SALAD COMBOS IN THE AREA. THEIR FOOT LONG HOT DOGS ARE THE BEST. THEY KNOW HOW TO MAKE A CHILDS BIRTHDAY AN UNFORGETABLE EXPERIENCE. (ALSO ADULTS) I ALWAYS BRING MY OUT OF TOWN GUESTS TO JAXSON'S YOUNG AND OLD AND IT'S ALWAYS A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE.

Awesome place for ice cream

This is some of the most rich, and delicious ice ream you will every have in Florida. You can choose from so many different flavors, and the shakes are to die for!

The seating was a bit slow, but overall this is awesome ice cream and more!
