Don't get lost or your on your own!

Had a great evening in the mall. Great prices for true bargain hunters. My family and I ate at the Rainforest Cafe where my 6 year old daughter really enjoys the experience. Unfortunately we exited the mall on the wrong side. We weren't that familiar and everything appeared to look different under the cover of darkness. We walked around the parking lot for about 30 minutes in 50 degree temperature, my wife expecting and 6 year old daughter. I was elated to see a two security SUVs apparently hard at work chit chatting with one another. One male security officer was mimicking a basketball player as he shot a non-existent ball. I walked over and asked the female security officer and informed her that we needed assistance finding our vehicle which we told them was on the opposite side near the furniture outlet. She was quick to refuse explaining that we were a "liability" and could not help us. She drove away from us and I called the number on the vehicle for IPC International a security company (954)846-2322. A young man answered who subsequently radioed his supervisor. the supervisor said sorry do not give them any ride. I asked for his name and the young man asked him for permission to give out his name over the radio. The so called supervisor said do not give out any information other than the number to the mall which was automated and was deemed to be useless as i am sure he was aware of. This incident occurred on April 7 2009. We asked for help after walking around in the cold for 30 minutes at 10:15pm and again I called at 10:23pm and was very upset. Other Malls security personnel have given me assistance on the back of a golf cart which was much more unsafe. these guards would not give us any help or a ride in a crash tested SUV riding in a parking lot no faster than 15 mph! It's policies like these that really make the trip to the Sawgrass Mills not worth it because frankly you are on your own. I walked around for another 30 minutes in the coldest day of the year yet. Its a matter of time before something bad happens to a patron when innocent shoppers are sent to fend for themselves after seeking assistance. Hopefully someone can do something about this!

Everyone who lives down here knows that it never gets that cold in April. In fact, the weather for that day was a high of 72, and a low of 60--check weather . com if you don't believe me.

The coldest day of the year was not in April either. Your review was about the parking situation, not the mall itself. Your review seemed very exaggerated and unfair. :o/

I agree ur jus a grump man, and its not the malls fault you got out at the wrong exit, each exit at the mall has a name and u should have remembered, you said you were parked by the furniture outlet then you should have came out in the furniture outlet. nice job

Theres a reason everything is so cheap...

Sawgrass mills is a giant, expansive, misleading, waste of time. Yes, it has many designer outlets. Yes, brand name and designer items are on sale for a fraction of the price. The thing, though, is that there is a good reason the things are so cheap. Many of the clothes that you will find will be factory defects or have measurements/cuts not suitable for a normal person. Some cheap Rock and Republic jeans that are made to fit the Jolly Green Giant do not justify the discount. It would appear as though this entire mall is a monument to the misguided concept that it doesnt matter if it looks bad and doesnt fit, if it has a designer's name on it, its worth it. I spent 6 and a half hours at this mall insisting that I had to leave with just one thing to justify the one hour drive from Miami. I was unable to justify the purchase of one item of clothing.

Additionally, I found the salespeople to be quite offputting. Very few of them actually knew what they were doing. Most of them seemed confused and deranged. It was as though they had hired discount salespeople to match the prices. On one occasion, a saleswoman tried to tell me that my measurements were the problem as to why none of their jeans would fit and proceeded to suggest that I might prefer "old people jeans" and then confrontationally asked me what brands of jeans I wear that fit me. To put this in perspective, I am 19 years old, I have a size 30-31 waist, I am 6'1'' and I model. Salespeople will also gladly just suggest that you buy their freakishly cut jeans, claiming that they fit even though the leg ends about 4 inches past your foot.

Don't come here, just buy cheaper clothes that will actually look decent or save up the extra money to buy nice clothes how they were meant to be purchased and worn.

• Cons: Everything is on sale because its has defects or unwearable measurements, the salespeople are almost all retarded, located in the middle of nowhere

Locals and visitors flock to this giant retail, outlet and entertainment venue.

In Short
Bring your walking shoes and don't forget where you parked, because people have been known to wander the lots for days looking for their cars. The Oasis is a dining and entertainment wing where you can chow down on a Southwestern pizza at the Wolfgang Puck Cafe or visit Legal Seafoods, the Hard Rock Cafe, the Cheesecake Factory, Los Ranchos or the Ghirardelli Chocolate and Soda Shop.

Restrooms and security

The shopes are great but the restrooms... cleanless, the odor is disgusting. If the management have the average of people visiting the Mall, they should take care of the bathrooms.

Also, they need to increase the security, to many teens hanging around and lack of security.

You name it, they had it- Good deals, home accessories, clothes, food, etc. The mall is huge. You have to remember where you parked. Shopping here is an all day event.
