GREAT SERVICE !!! I have had a warranty plan with Total for 3 years and I am very happy with the service they provide. Its very convienent and I've saved a lot of time and money with them. I recommend them to any homeowner.
Rude people answering phones. The lady thay answers the phone is rude: number 2 nobody knows how to fix anything I had 3 guy's come out in one day and the air conditioner still is not fixed .. Don't get a servicec contract with them also they don't know how to fix anything, without calling someone else they had to call a building maintenance guy to help them because they did not have the right tool to remove a bracket to remove the blower.
WORST SERVICE EVER!!!. I have never ever experienced such a horrible service in my whole life! I had a broken AC, called them, got an appointment in 2 days. The guy came, didn't even check anything, put Freon and left. In a couple of hours AC stopped cooling again, there was definitely a leak somewhere and a technitioner was supposed to fix it! I called again, another appointment in 2 days. The guy checked the unit on the roof - said the whole unit should be replaced, the contract doesn't cover that. I had to call the office again to ask for an estimate and to set next appointment. It's been 4 days since, they keep telling me that a person who gives estimates is not there and he/she will call you asap. NOBODY CALLED! More than a week with a broken AC in summer in Florida!!! I will terminate my contract and want to warn everybody - NEVER USE THEM! Nobody cares, nobody answers or calls you back and what is most important - NOBODY FIXES ANYTHING, and the funny part - you already paid them and have a contract which apparently means nothing!

I have a active water leak that is flooding my house. They told me to find someone 2 turn off the water to the house and they would get a plummer to us. The eariest would be 4 days. No bathroom and shower for 4 days.
FIND another company, don't use them.

They took money and made promises, now "on vacation" and won't return calls. I had a sub- standard installation of an ac unit, it leaks, wrong size hoses were used, and filter panel was bent during install so that now the filters cannot be changed out without tearing. Great fun to clean up dust and debris from the filter as it falls and spreads all over. Cant get to principal who was right there to take the order. The service people were snide and rude, seemed unskilled and to be training on the job. Left a big hole in wall behind unit that they didn't want to repair too, but I insisted. Now, i want my money back and they can take back their damaged reworked unit. They had 4 chances to fix, its enough. Dont use this group. Try to get recomendations. Better yet, go see an install that was done before deciding on who to use. Lots of lazy, crooks and unskilled in this part of south florida. Beware.

Rude, dishonest, obnoxious. This is a company with zero regard for their customers. They lie, are incompetent, cannot keep any type of facts straight and are rude. And to even get this type of non-service, you have to wait a rediculous length of time on hold..................

I had them for few years because my building has "special rate" with them. It appeared to be that rate is just $20 (5%) lower than Service of America. The Total never keeps the appointment time; the professional level is so low that I would say "they don't know what they really doing". 2 times they sent technician who literally told me "it's too complicated, let me get someone else...". It takes several appointments to fix real problem (it took 6 to fix my dishwasher). 2 technicians told absolutely different cause for the problem. They always try to tell you that some part that isn't covered needs to be replaced to get some extra money from you. You should wait long time to get parts. I was waiting 1.5 months for dishwasher part and over a month for oven control panel (GE brand, what else should be easier...).
Never deal with them, find some one else!

my experience with total. i wanted to have my a/c installed during the summer. it took a month befoe the work was actually done. they either didn't show up or were too late when they did for me to wait. they don't return phone calls either. to top it off they lost my permit for the work they were doing.
