What a Ripoff....
I spent over $40 for my dinner and left hungry. Very hungry. They don't serve any bread, so you just sit there looking at a cheap wooden table until your order arrives, and my fish came with only one side. When I ordered the Asparagus from the Sides menu, however, I was told that it costs $3 extra. The asparagus wasn't prepared in any way other than simply cooked- no flavoring or any other kind of special preparation. My fish was gone in about 30 seconds, then I ate the asparagus, and that was it. It is absolutely NOT WORTH IT to eat in a restaurant like Mango's. Go to a diner, like Lester's or Nick's Coffee Shop or Moonlight Diner or somewhere like that. You'll get very good food, a lot more of it and for a lot less money. No bread?? Cheapskates. Mango's was a ripoff. Way, way, waaaaay overpriced.

Love Mangos!.
Being a local of Fort Lauderdale, Mangos is one of my favorite places to go. Especially for happy hour Mon-Fri 4-6:30 pm, $2 off Drinks and 1/2 price appeitzers! The outside seating is a favorite of anyone, people watching and beautiful south florida weather! The staff is friendly and well informed, always willing to make suggestions about the food and things to do around town.
If your a night owl, the kitchen is open late every night. Live music is offered 7 nights a week. Everything from Jazz and R & B to Latin and Dance! Check the website for menu, band schedules, events etc.
Overall, Mangos is a fun place to be for all!

Horrible customer service.
Decided to have a girls night out there this Saturday with a party of 20. We were not able to make a reservation and could not be seated until the entire party showed up. Long story short while waiting we ordered drinks; one person did not like what was ordered and asked for a replacement. THE OWNER OF THE RESTAURANT walks over and states "this is not a taste test; if you order it you must drink it". After an exchange of words, he refused to allow a replacement and we were told if we didn't like it we could go elsewhere. So we took our party of 20 and left. We did not intend on spending good money on bad customer service.

Margaritaville meets Las Olas at this moving and shaking restaurant-lounge..
In Short
A Las Olas mainstay, Mango's is an institution for the post-work crowd as well as late night prowlers looking to hook up with the scantily clad hotties who hang here. What easily could have been just another TGI Friday's-esque fern bar is instead something with a lot more character, personality and noise. Inside, you'll find a cavernous restaurant bolstered by the presence of a very large bar that's consistently crowded.
