Able Appliance: I called your office and explained we had 2 refrigerators that needed service.

One compact , one old full sized.

The lady I spoke with said you had parts & serviced all models.

The serviceman came, announced he does not bother with compact

units because they cost more to repair than replace.

The service man then looked at other unit , laughed and said he did not have

parts for it & if he could find them it would cost $375.00.

He thought it was funny while writing up a $63.00 bill for a 2 minute service call.

It's not.

If I was told you do not service compacts & did not have parts for older units

I would not have bothered.

You can rip me off for a service charge, but that will be the last time you will.

DO NOT HIRE THIS GUYS. TOTAL SCAM.. DO NOT HIRE THIS GUYS. TOTAL SCAM. YOU WILL FEEL AS VISITED BY THIEVES. The water dispenser in my refrigerator was broken, it started to dispense water and was not able to stop. The AAA technician came, checked the problem and told me he had to replace a water valve that costs $289 plus taxes. He also found that my garbage disposal was jammed. He unjammed the water disposal, 3 minutes max between diagnosing and fixing it. Then he replaced the refrigerator's water valve. Total time for the visit, no more than 30 minutes. Then, after the visit, I checked in the internet the price of the part (WR57X10051), you can buy it for $28, or $50 in an store. So, this guys charged me around $250 for the labor time (the bill was for $344 total). I understand that they charge by the half or whole hour, no matter they may spend 1 minute doing the fix (I also charge by the hour) but they made me believe the cost of the part was $289 and then told me that the labor was the one for $250. If you want to be robbed, hire them, otherwise hire honest service providers. By the way, I called them to report the issue and they just hanged the phone.
