Truluck's. The first time we went we had an overall poor experience. The restaurant called us the following day and we told them the good, the bad and the ugly. They offered to have us back for a dinner on the house. It was actually a $100 gift certificate which was fine. We went a second time and contacted the manager in advance as requested to inform him of our reservation. Bottom line they failed the test. Too many other better resaurants locally I'd rather enjoy. Just my opinion.
Fast Food and Bad Service at a PREMIUM.
I went to Truluck's 30 min before my reservation to have a cocktail in the bar. Being polite, I told the hostess who I was, my reservation waas for 8pm and I was going to the lounge. With the manager at her side she was very aggressive in wanting me to take my table NOW. I went to the lounge, only to be interrupted mid conversation by the hostess. I HAD to take my table now. I should have left.
Our waiter was from Columbus Ohio, a good guy and a good waiter. We tipped him well since it was not his fault we were rushed.
What upsets me more is I wrote Truluck's corporate and called the Galleria to speak with the GM. No one ever made an effort to call me.
