Best Steak Ever!!!.
First of all, I'd like to consider myself a steak connoisseur and this is absolutely the best steak I've ever eaten! I really like ambiance of Steak 954 and the staff is very professional. So far, this is my favorite place to eat in Fort Lauderdale. Although it is a little pricey (at least for me) I would highly recommend this experience (especially if you enjoy a great steak!)

Best steak restaurant in town.
This is my guilty pleasure. When I have been good, I go get the 8oz kobe beef fillet with a side of truffle fries and slip into heaven. The jellyfish tank is cool too.

Great Service, Hotel is showing wear.
All in all it was a great evening (1/16/10). I had called and made reservations three weeks prior. I specifically requested a table where none of the four diners would stare at all wall. I wanted a table in the middle section of the dining room. So far - so Good I thought! The girl taking my reservation said, No problem sir - we appreciate you as a returning customer.
Upon arrrival there was no mention or notation of our request or any communication- and yes, we were going to be placed at one of the tables I hate...where two of us stare at a wall. The manager offered us seating in a seperate dining room - one that was more so a party room - and it honestly looked like a cafeteria. We waited for about 20 min for our requested table. Sadly the bar adjacent to the dining room only seats about 20, and the seating is ridiculous. There are these white ceramic "stools" - that in a way look like chamber pots - so we stood.
Dinner was FANTASTIC. Our waiter was Richard, and we have had him wait on us in the past. He was right on everything. Veal Chops and Lamb were unreal. Shrimp cocktail - phenomenal - coffee, dessert, wine list - cocktails - absolutely PERFECT.
What was no so perfect was prior to coffee I ran to the mens room. It smelled like the Iowa State Farm. Disgusting! There were three urinals that were nonfunctional and covered with black garbage bags!. I went to wash my hands and the fixture fell over. I reported it to the manager - who said "It is not our fault .. that is THE HOTELS RESPONSIBILITY! " Needless to say, on a rather modest dinner for four at $625 (w 20% tip) I am disappointed. I told the manager that was a sad excuse and a direct reflection on the restaurant.
So - if it were just the food, even with being rather expensive - and the Hotel tacking on a $5 parking charge onto the dinner bill - I probably would say 4 stars. I think I was rather generous by awarding two stars to this experience.
