I NEVER one to complain. However I thought you should know about this. I bought a certificate for Edo Sushi Buffet in Parkland.. It was an awful experience from beginning to end.

The hostess, who as it turns out was also the owner, was extremely rude. She was rushing around and hassled because she had a big party coming in. She first sat us in the front room and we were surrounded by young screaming children. We asked to be moved. She was not happy. She left us on the line and kept taking people after us. When we were finally seated it was in the back, not a room, but more like a storage area. We were given no attention back there. Our plates were accumulating back there and the waiter only came once to clean up. The food was sub par- slop! What we had originally thought was going to be a lovely evening at a great price was a horrendous experience. We have been happy to try your recomendations of restaurants in the past but this one was disastrous.

They also added a 15% gratuity!!

An unhappy customer.

Pissed Off Customer. I have gone to Edo with my family on several occasions, but WILL NEVER again!! Today I ate lunch at Edo with my "10" year old daughter who in fact really is "10 YEARS OLD" when the bill came I was charged for 2 Adult meals, I explained to our waitress that my daughter was in fact only "10" and should be billed at the kids meal price. After waiting 15 minutes another waitress came to our table and said her manager says she is not "10" and I would have to pay the adult price. I said I would like to speak with the manager and after another 15 minutes or so the waitress returned with another waitress and they started asking my daughter over and over how old she was, when her birthday was, what month she was born, etc... basically grilling a "10" year old girl after telling her that her mother was a liar. At this point I told them I was not paying and they would have to call the police because I was not going to take this sort of abuse any longer. After another 10-15 minutes they credited out the difference and we left. They have lost all my family and friends as customers period!

Best Sushi/Pan-Asian Buffet. I have been going to Edo for both lunch and dinner for a long time. The food there is so much better, fresher, and more beautiful than other asian buffets that I've been to, and I have tried them all from Boynton to Coral Springs and everywhere in between. The place is clean and the service is good. On weekends, $16.95 all you can eat from every buffet table and hibachi. They also have $9.50 all you can eat lunch on weekdays (call them to ask more about their prices). On weekends they have peking duck, chilean seabass, lobster roll, and oysters; every night they have snow crab legs and sashimi (which I like to lightly dip in their spicy kimchi sauce, but they also have hot butter, cocktail sauce, and dozens of other types of sauces). For your first time, I highly suggest going in for dinner around 4:30pm when they put their first rotation of food out onto the tables and the restaurant is not as crowded. They do get very busy at times because they're so popular especially on the weekends after 6:30pm or lunch around noon. Don't be fooled by reviews from customers who always need to look for something to complain about but think they don't always complain or are justified in doing so. At least go try them out, and I'm sure you will enjoy it.

One of the top two or three sushi buffets in Broward County. Edo Buffet makes excellent, fresh sushi and offers a great assortment of creations you will not find at other sushi buffet places. Their hot food section chinese food section is quite good too. Their fried foods are not greasy, which is always a mark of a good restaurant. Their desserts are nothing to write home about, and is on-par with virtually every sushichinese restaurant in the area. Edo gets two-thumbs up.

Stole my money. do not go here!. This place will SCAM your money... and then act like they dont know what you are talking about, adding that they also argue with you in front of all the customers insisting they are correct. Gave them 2 twenties and they say I paid with a 20 and a 10. Would not give me my money back.. Food isnt too good or fresh.. Kyojin is alot better. and nicer.
