This past weekend a group of friends/family were celebrating a couple's birthday at Opium Nightclub. We looked into a VIP Birthday package and despite how overly expensive it was, we went ahead and booked it. It was $350 for 8 people. We asked if we had more than 8, how would that effect us.. (would we need to buy another bottle?) On the phone they said for every 4 additional people we would have to buy another bottle for $200. We ended up having 10 people in total, so the extra bottle wouldn't have to be purchased. We all looked at the website to see the VIP areas, and were please with what we saw online, and were all pretty excited for the weekend! When we got to the club, we had our first problem at the door. The hostess told us that since we had 2 extra people we needed to pay an extra $200 for another bottle. We explained to her that on the phone that was not what we were initially told. We asked for the manager. She came over and we explained the situation, and she said "For the extra 2 people you have to pay the cover charge for them." We were mildly annoyed by that but went ahead and paid it so we could finally start our night! Now, when we got inside and started looking around.. we all noticed that the VIP we saw online, was nothing like what we were given. Our area was practically in the middle of the dance floor, the couch was not very big, and it was NOT roped off from everyone on the dance floor. All night we were telling people to get up off our couches. Some random woman tried sitting down and when we told her to get up she didn't like it, and started swinging on my friends. Security was there pretty quick, but instead of making the girl leave, they made our entire group leave! The bouncers were very rude and tackled 2 people in my group to the ground. $350 for a bottle of absolut vodka, and 3 hours of non stop asking people to get off our couches, and a fight? Once we were all taken out, we realized that 2 of our group were not with us. I went back to the door bouncers and explained the situation and that I just wanted to go get my friends. They were rude, and nasty and would not let me back in to get them. Completely unprofessional and I will never spend my hard earned money in this establishment again. Do yourselves a favor and go someplace else. Do not waste your time at this club.

not for everyone. Me and my cousin went out to celebrate her promotion,

We thought it was still the club called "Spirts" but it had changed. They had people standing in front of the club like it was a long line .when it really wasn't . Then when we get to the door they say you have to be on a guess list! This place may not be for everyone!
