A Hidden Gem. This place is great...the outside looks a little rough, but wait til you see the inside...it's AWESOME! The food is great, the atmosphere is great...I can't wait to go back. Best part, they offer a full bar and full menu and even have vegan options which is great because my wife is a vegan! If you're in Fort Lauderdale...you have to check this place out!

~ WARNING TO LOCAL MUSICIANS IN SOUTH FLORIDA ~.
~ AVOID THE JIB ROOM AT ALL COSTS ~
**Dishonest Business Practices**
The Jib Room located at 2104 East Oakland Park Blvd in Ft Lauderdale is owned and operated by a dishonest and disreputable person who does not honor his business agreements.
After hiring me to perform in his room on June 5, 2009, he expected me to move the Jib Rooms patio furniture from the stage. I politely refused stating I had my own equipment to load in and didn’t feel moving the Jib Rooms furniture was my responsibility.
After I loaded all my gear onto the stage and was already setting it up, I was then told by the owner to now pack up and leave without any reason being stated and I was not paid for the job.
I have been in the service and entertainment industry for close to 30 years and this is completely and without question the most unprofessional and dishonest way to do business and this owner should be ashamed of his despicable and deceitful business practices.
The Jib Room should be avoided at all costs.
