Keratin treatment has Formaldehyde which can cause cancer!!

This salon is fooling people by telling them they are getting a keratin treatment .It is called BKT and it has 10 times the FDA allowed formaldehyde in its product. They claim their product does not have this but it does. Do your research they have an article in Allure magazine 0ctober issue on how this is dangerous and can cause cancer. Please before you risk your life do your homework it is not worth dying over straight silky hair. I have done a lot of research and CBS News also did a story on this that you can easily find. The story explains how these salons try to fool people into thinking that their is no formaldehyde in it but it is there and it is an extremely dangerous amount. Remember you can find all these articles online do not be fooled .If you ask around you will find that most salons will not use that because of the danger. Obviously this salon is not worried about the health risks to it's employees and their customers.

Most Beautiful Hair I've ever had! OK here's the deal..eat before you go, bring magazines/a book, or simply choose from their selection. Why do I say this? Expect to be there a four hours for the Keratin Treatment. Lucia, the lady that runs the salon calls it "hair surgery", and that's how you have to think of it. My hair has never been so soft, shiny, I thought I had ruined it w/flat irons, but she and her super polite staff brought it back from the dead. It's also the best price I've ever seen for this treatment. Three stylists worked on my hair, rinsing applying stuff, rinsing, blow drying, the best head massages. Ifeel like I got three experts for one price..I would also go soon, as I imagine the price could go up,especially if they get mentioned in a magazine, like Allure. I feel so fortunate that my friend at work turned me onto them. They are true Keratin Treatment stars, "straight" from Brasil!

Very unprofessional and they ruined my hair. Consumer Beware

DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON ......THEY TURNED MY HAIR ORANGE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - I went to this salon to get blonde highlights .The owners daughter convinced me that I needed a base color because my hair would be 2 differant colors if I did not get a base color. I said ok but explained that I need ash because my hair has a lot of red undertones and I did not want orange hair.. She assured me that I would not have any red in my hair. She put the color and then stuck me under the dryer and forgot about me. Her brother, the owners son had to get me out of the dryer and my head was burning . She never came back to check how my color was doing .I looked on my cell phone to see what time it was and realized the dye was on way too long so I looked in the mirror and saw my roots were bright orange I could not believe what I was seeing I panicked and said my hair is orange and then started crying and ran into the bathroom .The owners son yelled at me to get out of the bathroom so they can wash it out. I could not believe how angry he was at me . I did nothing to deserve this nasty treatment from them .The shampoo girl rinsed it and blowdryed one piece of hair literally my hair was still soaking wet and they did not even dry it to see the color. Though you could see it was orange while it was wet. Not once did the owners daughter who did my hair come over to see it or apologize . I asked to talk to her and she just looked away. They kept saying it's not orange and he said what color did you want? I said blonde highlights. They acted like they never knew what I was talking about. He told me to leave or he was going to call the police because I told him you ruined my hair I am going to a lawyer. So I left and my neighbors and friends all saw the roots all over my hair were indeed orange and took pictures of it for proof and I had to spend a lot of money to have my hair fixed and I would warn anyone please do not go to this salon . There are many other salons that do a great job. This one does not stand by their work and if they make a mistake they get mad at you. By the way my hair was 3 differant colors when I left. It was a horrible experience.They acted very unprofessional when they made a mistake. Also they should not leave you when they are doing color . I would not want this to happen to anyone else. Please go to another salon!
