When we went to this place.

Sushi chef was smoking in front of door.We should go home the time.

Food was bad and noisy rude hip hop kids were there...

It's horror

The people in the restaurant are great! They treat u like family.. Plus, the food are super good. It is far one of the best restaurant that I have experience. I see myself a visit most often now.

best japanese restaurant

Ok i have been a sushi chef for almost 3 yrs, so when i eat out i look for very traditional Japanese food. i helped my gf moved to Plantation this weekend and found this restaurant online. we went there that night i was amazed by the uniqued special they had. most of the time the special are written on a board which is placed at the entrance, but if ur seated fast u cant really read the special so u miss out on them. but at Marumi they bring a board with all their specials to your table for you to read. that night i had "beef tongue with miso sause" it was delicious, reminded me of a french stew. then i had "fried silver fish" which was so nice and clean, went very very well with some sake. the next day i requested that we go there again. my gf made fun of me for it but we did go back. that night had one of their special where you get to pick out a fresh fish and you decide what you want to do with it or you can leave it up to the chef, we requested for sashimi and asked the chef to do as he pleased with the rest of the fish, and wow was it good, we were both full and really satisfy with the dinner. as i am writting this review we're tryign to pick another restaurant to go to tonight, and i really want to go back and see how they will amaze me again. so all in all, this restaurant is a must try for all you food fanatic. As for me i sure will be visiting my gf a bit more often now..lol... hope this review was helpfull.
