Tips for Thira Taste Of The Greek Isle

Good Food But Bad Service.
The food was good but the service was awful!! Last night, it took about 40 minutes for the food to come out. The tall male server asked if we needed anything else, and I asked him for a 2nd glass of wine. After 20 minutes, still no wine. Finally after receiving the 2nd glass, I asked for the check. It took about 15 minutes to get the check. My date and I were wondering what the hold up was since he only had 3 tables. After placing the cash payment in the check holder, the server took off as if he was going to keep the change. After 20 minutes of waiting for the change to come back, I had to actually call the restaurant on my cell phone while sitting at the table, to get the server to bring my change back!!! By then, we were so put off by the experience, that we both vowed to never go back to Thira.
Since the previous reviews, they have probably allowed their service to slide. In any case, it was unacceptable.

the best greek food. Very good and authentic Greek, some of the best i've ever had. A must try is the roasted lamb and the Kebobs, and for dessert the baklava is amazing, had a greek experience there and is highly recomended.
