I don't even know what this guy is talking about!!! I am from Philly, and go to big als all the time. It is the ONLY place to get real Philadelphia STEAK SANDWICH in florida. Big als is the only place i have ever found outside of philly that uses sliced rib-eye and doesn't chop the heck out of it. They also bring the bread down from philly, so that you recieve the identical sandwich that you could get going to Geno's Steaks in south philly. AGAIN what was this guy talking about, but then again, he gave Popeyes Chicken 5 stars, so obviously this guy has no taste in high quality food.

If you looking for the real thing, a true philly Steak Sandwich "wit" onions Big Als is the only place to go.

Philly Steak Sandwich, not the best I had

I had a philly cheese steak without. I was dissapointed, the bread is ok, the meat is tasteless and I couldn't even taste the cheese (provolone) It was as tough there was no cheese there. They serve the sandwich on a sheet of paper. I ordered fries and a drink for additional price, the fries were overcooked, no taste, not good. They do provide jars of sweet peppers, pickels, etc. for you to add to your liking. I am from Jersey and have been used to loaded great tasting meat and cheese, this was not. The restaurant is very small they have a few bar and stools, not table & chairs, not small child friendly seating (if that's what you need), so eating in your car may be better. The order taker lady was very courteous. It would not go back, I can't recommend, for me this was not the best in it's kind, as they claim. And to top it off, the price is way too high, for a sandwich, fries and drink, will set you back close to $11, so I'd rather go elsewhere and have tastier, better food, portion and seating.
