Worst spa experience I have ever had. I really never write negative reviews, but I felt so mistreated and ripped off after this experience that I felt I had to warn others. I booked an hour and a half swedish massage. I won't say the name of the therapist since I feel bad doing that on a public forum but message me privately if you want to know. I have had TONS of massages in my life...I'm generally not so picky, but this woman wanted to exert as LITTLE energy as possible while doing the massage. She didn't once ask me how I liked the pressure or which areas I wanted to focus on/avoid. The massage basically tickled, and about 40 minutes into it I got up the nerve to ask her to increase the pressure a little bit because I kept tensing up from the light touch. She got very defensive and said "you wanted a swedish massage, thats what this is" when I tried to explain that ive had many massages before and its possible to do swedish without tickling the person, she started getting very condescending and said maybe next time you should read our brochure it lists all our services and prices....I was like yes, thats how I booked this. Then the even more ridiculous part: She said "you want more pressure? thats a deep tissue massage. I've just had plastic surgery on my breasts so i cant really do it now but here ill do deep tissue" and she proceeded to basically beat my back up. i couldnt move my neck for the next day. upon checking out, no one asked me how it was or anything.....Ugh what a bad experience. I would advise anyone against going there....

wow!!!!. I surprised my girlfriend on here birthday for a full couples treatment (pedicure, manicure and the Journey to Eden) and had the best time ever!!!!!I had never done anything close to this in my life and manly went through with it only to keep my girlfriend company and do something romantic to pamper her on “her day”.

First of all I never really saw the place and I live 5 minutes from there and was overwhelmed with the size and all the facilities they have… is crazy they have everything!!!! The service was incredible and I begged the woman that gave me the Journey to Eden to give me my pedicure (pedicures are definitely a keeper in my monthly schedule from now on) she was so combing and knew exactly how to read my body so I definitely recommend her (Sara!!!I think her last name is Danio) !!!!!

In short we had the best time ever and felt so rejuvenated and relaxed, but most of all I was ecstatic to know that my girlfriend enjoyed it so much (she is not easy to please). I don’t normally write reviews on places but I don’t normally go to spas either so I really do recommend Contour Day Spa and defiantly know what I’m getting my mother for mother’s day!!!!

Worst Spa Ever. My husband and I had plans to get hot stone massages on Valentines Day but when we called they offered us a special to do the service on Feb. 15th instead of Feb 14th. Once we arrived they did not honor the special. The staff was sympathetic but unwilling to work with us. Once we were undressed and ready for our hot stone they were told to stop and see if we wanted something else. We left without any services and vowed never to return.

Dissatisfied. My girlfriend and I went to the Hard Rock in Hollywood for a detox pedicure and were extremely disappointed. I based my assumption on the same experience I received at the Plantation location. The Plantation location was professional and the environment one typically thinks of when going to a spa for relaxation. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at that location and, in fact, recommended it afterwards.

I can’t say the same for the Hollywood location at all.

The spa was not clean at all

The spa chairs were torn and the stuffing coming out

The massager on one chair no longer functioned

They had to prop the plug up in order for the detox machine to work because it kept coming out

When they began the actual pedicure neither of them had sterilized equipment

Each had their own collection of nail polish. I liked one of the polishes that the girl doing my friends pedicure had, but was told it wasn’t hers to use

We had to ask for something to drink and when the water was brought to us it was it little plastic cups

I think the only reason I feel the need to write to complain is because it wasn’t a basic $25 or $30 pedicure. It was a $99 pedicure.

Reluctantly gave one star…only because it’s required to post a review.

Worst Manicure I've Ever Received!. First of all, you have to pay and tip upon arrival, wich may explain the horrible manicure I received. It looked like a 10 year did my nails. I had picked a darker color and she was so sloppy with the second coat you can clearly see that it didn't even make it close to completely covering the nail. It looks like my nails were painted with 2 colors as first coat was more transparent and she carelessly didn’t try to go over the entire nail again. Also, it appeared each manicurist was independent. You could only pick from their little drawer of nail polish, rather than a full wall of choices that is owned by the salon. They didn't have a machine sterilizing the equipment. She took all the tools from a little make-up case then sprayed alcohol on the tip after she messed up my cuticle and made me bleed. The downstairs was not up to par with what I thought a spa at The Hard Rock should look like. On the other hand, the second floor where you received spa treatments appeared to be a completely definitely owner. It looked elegant, like the invested money to make it a high end spa unlike the nail/hair salon on the first floor.

I do not consider myself a spa snob. I maybe treat myself once every other month. My sister however is a manager of a spa and was appalled by the service we received at the nail salon.
