Wasn't all that impressed. I don't know what the big deal is. Is everyone just on the bandwagon? Wow... its cooked on coal! I didn't see the second coming of Christ like everyone is acting like. I have eaten at the new Pines location twice now and wasn't all that impressed. Order was wrong and crust was doughy. Don't know how it is in the north east but I would hope that its better than this. Paul and Young Ron show pushes this place all the time but I'm having a hard time understanding what the big deal is. To me, there are much better places (especially along the beach) that make Anthony's look like Pizza Hut.

Nice crust just like italy. My wife and I are pizza freaks. Anthony's is GREAT. We went for the pizza several times and we were curious about the wings asked our server if we could just try a couple, sure, he brought them over and now I have a hard time when I go there wings or pizza. By the way the salad is awesome particularly if you like Gorganzola cheese. The service has been great and friendly. Yeah the crust on the edge is a little blackened but it is worth it for the crispy crust. Yes the place is busy and sometimes hard to get in to but that is the price you pay for delicious. I have eaten pizza in Italy and Manhatten and I can tell you it is not exactly the same but it is terrific. I try to go at least once a week but it is still hard on me pizza, wings ... pizza, wings ... pizza, wings ... pizza, wings ... oh well you get it.

Best pizza anywhere. It was pouring rain, so I thought I would get lucky and not have to wait 30 minutes for a table, I was. These guys have the best pizza I have ever tried anywhere. Usually you need to wait forever to get in but the rain kept the place available. Now I know why they have such long waits, the pizza is awesome! They use great ingredients; make their own dough and the coal Fired oven at almost 800 Degrees makes the crispiest crust bar none. They also offer innovative toppings. I had prosciutto & long hot finger peppers YUM

The pizza was only $13.50 for large and worth every cent!

Editorial Review by Christy Buena. Serving coal-fired pizza, chicken wings and salad, the cozy restaurant is usually packed during lunch time.

The Wings are the attraction... Forget the Pizza, although very good. The main attraction is the Chicken Wings. There are none better in the area...

Crispy Crunchy Crust. I have not visited the restaurant but my boyfriend picked up a pizza and salad one night for dinner and it was delicious. Have had many types of pizza from differnet types of ovens such as brick oven or wood burning but never COAL. The edges of the crust were black like coal but it was delicious and the best crust that I ever have tasted. Nice and crunchy. If you prefer crunchy to guey and chewy...then this is the place for you. Fantastic!

An Annoying Place with Good Pizza. I've been getting a topping of small meatballs here for several years BUT the last 2 times I was there, I was told they DON'T have a meatball topping! -Only a "specialty pie" with meatballs & ricotta. -The waitress was borderline nasty. So I guess they've changed their menu or something and refuse to do the meatball topping anymore. -So I've stopped going there altogether. The place was way too noisy anyway. What's the big deal? -Just put the mini-meatballs on the pizza! It's so stupid of them to lose customers in this way.

Rather Have Pizza Hut!!!!!!!!!. I was expecting Awesome Pizza, but instead I got a pizza that the rim of the crust was all burnt, and a pile of grease with no flavor. I know that there pizza is advertised as welldone and crispy but that does not mean burn the crust!! I saw 3 other pizzas go out the same way. On a positive note the wings were excellent!! The pizza is definately one of the worst I ever had!!

Excellent Pizza. The wait was not bad at all, even though it was a Monday night. Pizza was excellent, nice and crispy. Ambience was very nice and the music was excellent if you like classic rock. Michaelangelo the owner is very accommodating and the staff is very polite. We will definitely return. - Robert & Barbara Shasha
