Floor-to-ceiling front windows reveal bustling Las Olas Boulevard; inside, beautiful lighting, cozy banquettes, hardwood floors and exposed-brick walls set the scene for the always-busy bar and dining area. The menu includes sandwiches, "main plate" salads, pasta dishes and heartier entrees like grilled pork chops in apple-porcini sauce and almond-crusted trout with french fries. Choose wine from an extensive list that includes rare and reserve bottles.

First off let me put to rest the previous reviews that are on this site. I don't know if management has changed or the chef or what...but the place is specatacular! As a chef I have not had a better prepared meal in years. The crab cake was perfectly cooked with a sauce that complimented it very well. The filet and the seabass were equally impressive. I had an Argetinian Malbec to go with my meal and the wine selection is perfect for the cuisine. The ambience was nice, very clean , and decorated with a nice modern touch. I would encourage everyone to try this place as I will DEFINITELY return next time I am in town. If Big City Tavern needs any help promoting their establishment they can contact me and I will be glad to help.

The food is good and so is the service. I would like to see more international wine selections, mostly California.

Parking:
Street parking or public lots--metered and flat rate--north and south of Las Olas Boulevard.
Save Money:
The same menu is offered at lunch in a smaller version, for a fraction of the price. Appetizers, salads, sandwiches and pizzas are offered for less during late-night hours, after 11pm Monday-Saturday.
