Seeking A Great Hair Stylist. Hi, My Name is April and I am searching for a great hair stylist. My mother in law is a hair dresser and she will be moving away so will not be able to do my hair any more. She is the best at my hair, I have very curly hair and long. Love to have it highlighted and kept long. In the past I have had some bad experiences getting my hair cut. One of them is that people seem to get scissor happy with my hair and again I want to keep it long. It can be done I have had it done by many times. So if you have anyone in mind that you would think that would do a great job please let me know. I also like my hair straightened once in awhile usually when I get it cut in a salon. Thank you

Wonderful Salon. Salon Santiago is a wonderful salon. My stylist is Dorrie and have been going to her for a year. I wish I found her sooner! I have always had a difficult time trying to find a stylist that can do blond highlights. My hair either ended up fried and dry or brassy. She's one in a million!

The atmosphere is very warm and inviting. Everyone that works in the salon is friendly and always remembers who I am.

They also have their own hair product line that i can't live without! it was great to use while I was pregnant because it is paraben free.

I have recommended this salon to friends and will continue to do so.

FTL's Hidden Gem for Hair. I visited Salon Santiago for the first time yesterday (6/26) for a haircut and brow/lip wax. I can't tell you how amazing I feel just from a simple haircut & wax.

Francesca did my wax and I think it was the gentlest thing I've ever experienced. She used wax for sensitive skin on me and I didn't get red or itchy like I've done in the past with regular wax. I always thought that was just what happens when you get waxed -- skin gets red & irritated -- but Francesca showed me differently, and I'm officially spoiled. :-)

James was my stylist and I must say, I'm nursing a bit of a stylist crush. Within moments of me trying to describe what I wanted (something with lots of texture & edges that works with my short fine hair), he knew exactly what I was trying to get at and was raring to go with a razor cut.

Well, he didn't have to tell me twice, because I LOVE razor cuts and have had a hell of a time trying to get a good one since I moved down here in 2004. James was the first stylist I've met who loves razor cuts as much as I do and enjoys doing them. I love how he just went to town with the razor on my hair, making quick focused cuts all over my head. When he was done cutting, he put some of the salon's own Soy Fix in my hair which made all the texture really come out, and made me nearly squeal with happiness. I've had my short textured look for about 10 years now and James revitalized it for me and made me feel amazing.

When I was done, I felt like I'd been to the spa. That's how happy, relieved, and relaxed I felt afterward. I feel like I've found the Holy Grail of hair salons -- knowledgeable professionals who enjoy what they're doing and do it very well. Francesca & James are great, talented people who are clearly interested in giving customers a great experience and I can't say enough good things about them.

I'll definitely be back in 6 weeks for another cut & wax! Thanks, Salon Santiago!!

Fabulous Salon. Trying to find a salon in South Florida that really knows what it is doing can be daunting...but I have found one, Salon Santiago!

From color, cut or styling, they really listen to what you want and deliver everytime.

Francesca offers a soothing and relaxing facial taking into consideration your skin type and problem areas, as well as waxing and make up services.

They offer full product lines and play great music.

The shampoo massage is my favorite part, but overall it

is a great experience and you won't be disappointed!

Dory is fantastic!. I moved to Fort Lauderdale from NYC and was very nervous about finding a new colorist. Dory was very nice and low pressure. I brought my old color recipe and she reviewed it and worked with me to get the color I want.

She is always open to suggestions and does her best to make her clients are happy. In addition, she will listen to suggestions and explain why or why not your suggestions will work. She does not expect us to be experts, but I feel comfortable with her suggestions because she explains the reasoning.

The salon always has good music and a stress-free atmosphere. Staff are friendly and accommodating.

Always a great Experience. As a fashion photographer I have worked with many hair stylists and makeup artists through out my career and have found that that the staff at Salon Santiago are both personable and talented which makes for such a great experience! From the minute you walk into this family owned Salon you get a warm and welcoming feeling that you know is hard to find at most Salons. I trust the colorist Dorry completely and always ask for her suggestions since I know I will always leave there looking and feeling fantastic! They also have a great line of hair care and skin care products that I know everyone will end up falling in love with!!

Best Salon! Enough Said.... I have been bouncing around from salon to salon, for a long time now... Was never happy with the outcome after my haircuts, styling, colorings...just not right.

My good friend Tracy finally recommended me to Salon Santiago and I had the BEST experience and will never go anywhere else...starting off with the personable Caroline Croteau (a smile that is contagious!) just makes you feel comfortable...there is no pretentiousness here!

I always walk out of the Salon Santiago feeling like a ROCKSTAR!

What a difference a day makes. I have been a long time client of salon santiago, and I get my color from Dorry she is amazing , I get my cut from James he does a wonderfull job and I get my waxing and facials by Francesca she has angel fingers its like no other facial i have ever had , the atmosphere has changed for the better its so uplifting to walk in there now.

not so great. after being ASKED to try this salon and being ASKED to write a review upon check out< i feel everything was subpar from the expierience to the work that was done on me,and the prices seemed a bit too high

Love Love Love!!. I have been going to Salon Santiago for many years now and I always leave happy. Amazing cuts and blow-drys and always has new/fresh ideas. Francesca is the only person I will let do my brows and lashes, she is genius! Great ambiance and some of the nicest and down to Earth owners ever! I LOVE SALON SANTIAGO!!!
