As a grandparent of a child that attends Nob Hills Academy, I can say that I am very happy with the school. The teachers and staff are very warm and caring. My granddaughter has learned so much. The school is very clean. I always see someone cleaning and mopping when I pick up my granddaughter. I am familiar with the kindergarten curriculum and Nob Hill VPK program exceed what is taught in Dade's Kindergarten classes. I would highly recommend this school.
Not a Place for Infants!. My son enrolled in Nob Hill Academy at 6 Months. I do not speak Spanish, However 99% of the staff are hispanic which is no problem by me. Trying to communicate how much to feed the baby, or how I would like my babys cereal and/ or food mad is a COMPLETE HEADACHE! and might i add BAD BUSINESS!! The infant toys are not cleaned everyday because I watched. Each time a baby place in the little walker they bite on the toys (which is totally normal), but they need to clean it. Germs etc that are passed, because some babies are sick colds etc. You can visably see the dirt on the toys. But, the staff is very nice. I would just wish they were more clean. Especially around young babies. I would definitely not enroll my newborn child if i had another child. I am taking my son out of this daycare and into a new one. This is my opinion so go see for yourself! I would definitely contact DCF about the cleanliness issue!
