Dinner in Davie. I visited the Buca di Beppo Davie location Tuesday evening after finding out on Citysearch that they had one close to my home.

What a treat! the staff was super and the food outstanding. We sat in the "Wine room" which has hundreds of bottles of wine on the ceiling and grape vines strewn throught the room, but it was the service that made the night. Our server took the time to describe the evenings specials and seemed to be there whenever we needed something (our soda's never got past 1/2 full!) . Did I mention the food was AWESOME too!

Buca Rocks. I frequently eat at Buca in Davie on University Drive. The portions are large, the food is fresh and very appetizing and there are always leftovers to take home and enjoy the next day. The staff is courteous and the managmeent is very attentive to our needs.

I highly recommend the shrimp parmesan and the linguini frutti di mare. The salads are great and large and if you have room the desserts are great as well.

This place is great for a huge party as they have family style food. However, the new smaller portions make it great for just a couple as well.

I highly recommend this place.

Helpings Huge-Food So-So. My family has now eaten here twice. The helpings are only made for large groups. So a couple will have to share the same item and would still take alot of food home. I found the meatballs and the garlic bread to have way too much garlic-that's all you could taste. While their tomato sauce is not seasoned enough. I would not go back for a third try.

Southern Italian. This is the best Italian Restaurant in town.They make their own meatballs.

FUN, LARGE GROUP OF PEOPLE.... ...need somewhere to go. This is the place. Kids, loud friends and the like have found the perfect place to enjoy some great Italian food and see some great old pictures. Bravo!

Italiano !!. Awesome decorations, servers are enthusiastic and enjoyable, and the food is magnifico! A suggestion to those who go there- reserve the Pope room.

Bring your Friends!!. You cannot just go on a date to this place.

The portions are so big, that any chances of you getting lucky that night, will be ruined by the amount of food that is served.

Make reservations and if you are adventuruous, request the table in the kitchen.

THere is a table smack in the middle of the kitchen.

AWESOME FOOD!!!!

You need to go with at least 3 people to be able to enjoy the food, this way every body can order something different and you can share.

6.0. Its OK. Food comes in massive portions, but the quality is simply good, not great. Atmosphere is super, though.

Molto Bella!. this restaurant brings italy right to davie. With the creative usage of photos, memorabilia, and creative spin on dishes. The large portions makes it the perfect place for family dining, or for a first date.
