Best steak of my life.. I had the best steak of my life here! I've had a lot of steaks but this one beat them all. The outdoor dining is really, really beautiful too. The waiter hovered too much, which apparently he thought was good service. It wasn't, it was just hovering. The maître d'hôtel was also a little odd. When we entered the restaurant he asked if we had seen the menu. When we said yes, he said that was good because he didn't want us to be... uh... "disappointed". So, after we convinced him that we did actually have some money with us and that we were able to pay for the meal, things went splendidly. Every course was amazing. This is perhaps the most creative chef we've encountered in our travels and he obviously runs a tight kitchen. The wine list was a bit limited but we found a nice Marlboro white wine, and everyone's main course was wonderful. I don't remember our desserts so much but I still remember my steak. We also had a sweet potato ravioli that was amazing. This place made a heck of an impression on all of us.
