Great Drinks Food, Service & Location!. BU's Beach Bar has the best location on Hollywood Beach! After 16 years of hanging out on Hollywood Beach, I haven't found another beach bar to rival BU's. The raised outdoor patio overlooking the broadwalk and the beach offer unrivaled views. Even from inside the bar you don't forget you are at the beach because the raised vantage gives unobscured views to the east and south. Definitely a Locals hang out, but welcoming to visitors as well.

The prices are reasonable, the food is comfort/beach food, and the bar fully stocked. They have bottled import and domestic beers, as well as a few on tap (Samuel Adams is my favorite). Live bands every weekend bring in a great party crowd aged from mid-twenties to late-fifties. Dress is always beach casual. The Owners, Danny & Marlene are always on scene to welcome us. Ask them to serve you a Rock Lobster - it's the Locals' Favorite!! Bartenders Allie, Jen, Gwen and Christine keep up with the fast pace of the order and make the place fun, fun, fun.
