Mom Says Its The Best Pizza Around But The Owner is Rude. I won't even go into the details suffice it to say that the owner's brush and harsh manner in communicating his cutoff time for the lunch special was the most outrageous display of Neanderthal behavior by a shop owner ever. Never got to try the pizza, oh well. He is tasteless. Fuggedabouttit. Don't even go... try Scotti's for the real deal!!!

I placed a lunchtime order for delivery. I was told 30-35 minutes to get my order. That worked for me. I had to be somewhere in about an hour and a half. Thirty minutes came and went. Forty-five minutes came and went. After an hour, I was getting edgy because I was going to be late since I hadn't had time to jump in the shower yet while I am waiting for this delivery. So over an hour later I called to simply cancel my order. The same guy that took my order was shocked that I no longer wanted want my order and starts barking at me about how the guy is almost to my house and how traffic was bad and so on. (I live five minutes from the place so unless they had a road shutdown, that excuse is lame at best) So I have to tell the guy to keep his pizza and his attitude. Here I am waiting at home to give their business my hard-earned money and this clown is barking at me because I CANNOT wait any longer. Meanwhile, they are taking twice as long as he initially told me!!!!.
He goes on to tell me that they will never take an order from my address again. I can't understand how in these economic times any business can afford to not only turn away business, but make absolutely sure that it will never come back. And if they have this much disregard and disdain for their patrons, it's better I didn't eat from their kitchen.
...anyhow, some punishment, BOO-frickin-HOO. Like I want to wait over an hour for a mediocre pizza, served with a frown in my future. What better way to say, " We really don't give a **** about our customers!" and "We hope you NEVER come back". BTW- I was late to my appointment due to all of this. I called ahead to say I was running behind schedule. They weren't upset I was late. They were actually happy I called just to let them know. A little bit of courtesy goes a long way. So put that in your pizza oven and bake it.
Best Pizza and Subs Anywhere. I am an executive assistant at a local corporate office in Deerfield Beach and I am in charge of ordering lunch for all of our meetings. I use ALL STAR PIZZA's catering very often because they take the headache out of what can be a somewhat stressful process. Some of the VP's in my office can be picky from time to time, but they all love this place...finally a place we can all agree on! Their menu has something for everyone's taste. I call early before they open to get the order in and the guys there are always friendly and you can tell that they appreciate the business. I let them know what time I need the food delivered and that is when it is there...every time...delicious food...every time!!! The business world is time sensitive, so the fact that they are always there when I need them really makes my life easy. It is also nice when my coworkers tell me...nice job, the food is great, who did you order from....I tell them ALL STAR PIZZA!!!! Thanks guys :)
Best Pizza in South Florida!. I don't know what those other people are talking about poor service. This is the best pizza in South Florida and the folks that work there are great! I guess if you go in with a bad attitude you'll get poor service. I've gotten nothing but the best here. And their Sicillian Pizza..... to die for!!! Don't hesitate going here! It's mom and pop pizza at its best and well within budget! Thanks guys!
Poor Service. I had my worst commercial experience as a customer in USA in all my life. Recently I went at this place of business to order a pizza. When it was ready to pick up, the cashier asked me $15.90, suddenly a man with a shaved head who was behind the counter came and take my $20 bill and gave me 20cents as my change. I've asked my exact change, he said "you have your change body". No invoice given, no thanks, in other words, take the door and shut-up. I felt like a peace of sh...t. I don't know who he is, the owner/manager, who knows. If you want to be robbed, that's the place to go. November 2006.
