Never AGAIN. Steak burritos are to contain churasco[skirt steak grilled}. Thiers contained mystery meat that was awful. Not only was the meat awful but it had less than 2 tablespoons in a large burrito. The rice in the burrito was mush! the salsa was clearly bottled commercial slop. No flavor at ALL! They have no ability to prepare authentic Mexican food. They slop together a burrito with old mush lettuce, meat and rice from last weeks left overs. Then Nuke it and call it hot and fresh. Typical soflo restaurant, if they made it fresh and right and as authentic as possible thier business would triple! It doesnt even deserve the star I had to leave it to publish.

East Coast Burrito Factory Rocks!. Only the original on Commercial BLVD and Andrews Ave....the others were nowhere near as good which is why they're gone. But the original....excellent! I have gone there for years, since the mid 90's. They owners are extremely friendly and remember my name. Are they genuine Mexican burritos, no! Are they awesome American burritos, very filling, pet friendly, taste great.....and their Hotter Than Hot sauce is to die for!!!

Bleh. The reviews on here are clearly bogus. This place is flat out bad.

I'm a mexican food junkie. I have always enjoyed my trips to LA to enjoy the real burrito joints. I can deal with a place just being "ok" - but East Coast is just BAD.

There is absolutely no passion or respect for the food they serve, the owners (also the staff) just don't seem to "get it".

The salsa is clearly from a jar, and you can see them throw everything in the microwave when they make it. The tortillas are junk quality and way too hard. They need to be softened and steamed a little.

The woman at the counter is borderline short and rude and seemed bothered by simple questions about the food. While the man is quite friendly and nice, but unfortunately just doesn't understand that producing microwaved junk is not a path to success.

The menu is expensive as well for what you get. I could be craving a burrito and wouldn't bother with this place.

Overall, the quality is just downright bad. To the owners, put some passion into your food - microwaving jarred salsa on a hard tortilla just isn't acceptable.

The Coast - The stuff of legends.. The original East Coast Burrito Factory is my favorite place to eat ON EARTH. Among my friends, it has become the stuff of legend; a temple that we flock to every time we're back in Ft. Lauderdale. Some of us have even ordered extra burritos, to package in dry ice and bring with us via airplane, so that friends on the West Coast can experience the magic that is The Coast. The grounds are humble and comfortable; a classic Ft. Lauderdale patio that makes you feel right at home. Service is stellar, and owners/employees always have a smile. Is there a better meal than an East Coast Burrito? You could argue that, I'm sure. But when it comes to stellar flavor, service, satisfaction and environment, there is no establishment I'd rather solicit than the almighty mecca we so lovingly call, The Coast.

Editorial Review by Christy Buena. Restaurant serves traditional Mexican cuisine including Floritos and offers an extensive beer and wine list while offering an outdoor patio.

Worthy of the gods. I eat a good ammount of food, and I don't think I've ever had anything better then the burritos at "The Coast." "12 inch Chicken, refried beans, medium salsa, no sour cream," is a phrase that comes out of my mouth probably three times a week. Go out of your way to have this food, it will be worth it.
