EXCELLENT CORN ON THE COB!!. The BEST corn on the cob you will ever have. I guarantee it!. Other than that, the baked beans are also very good and the baby back ribs fall off the bone. Make sure you try shorty's house bbq sauce. You have to ask for it because it is served warm.

I've tried the chicken and spare ribs before, but found them to be a bit dry. The several shorty's sauces (especially the house sauce) make anything taste good, so it's not a big deal. The french fries are crunchy and delicioius as is the garlic bread.

Never Go for the Take Out!. The main difference between this Shortys is that the Take Out window and eattery inside are two entirely different worlds. The Take out is never correct, nor does the food seem the same. My guess is that they truthfully don`t care what type of slop they serve to customers who aren~t eatting inside, while the Wait Staff I gather must have some control about what get served. The ribs lately seem different, they are much drier than the past, the chicken is not bad but needs alot of Shortys Sauce to give it value. The corn on the cob is excellent, but make sure they don`t drench it in butter! The beef Sandwich is ok, again needs plenty of Shortys Sauce to give it any good taste. Interesting, and worth a mention is the hamburgers, these are very good! The fries and slaw here are very good as well.
