They just want to sell you $20 software for $200. Their lessons are as big of a joke as Best Buy, ASM takelssons.con, Extreme Guitars, God of thunder, All County, Music Tech, School of Rock and any of the other places trying to sell mediocre lessons with sales tricks and gimmicks.

As someone who has finally found a REAL teacher after having wasted so much time and money at these places I can say that it is impossible to find ANYONE at these places and there are some reasons that are very obvious NOW.

What they are doing is trying to make it appear that it isn't necessary to find a real teacher (that they don't want to pay for) just "plug you in" to their software scheme and then it doesn't even seem to matter who your teacher is.

The best teachers know YOU and that's not possible with this system. The best teachers DO NOT COST MORE THAN THIS SCAM. IT IS STUPID TO SETTLE FOR THIS CRAP AND GET LOCKED INTO THEM WHEN YOU CAN FIND A REAL TEACHER WITHIN 5 MINUTES OF THEM TEACHING FROM HOME NEAR PINE ISLAND AND 595. THIS TEACHER HAS MORE EXPERIENCE THAN THE ENTIRE STAFF AT GUITAR PLAZA

Their Lessons are a SCAM!. What a racket! They're trying to make it seem like all teachers are interchangeable which is moronic. I found a teacher in Davie through Craigslist who is more experienced than Guitar Plaza's entire staff for less money and i have learned more with any lesson with him than I did for months at GP. He also pointed out some red flags that while they did seem weird.at the time, I didn't think them through.

They actually advertise that they "advise you to try different instructors for variety of approaches." He said it's because they cannot keep instructors who are worth anything and they want to make it look like this is a good thing.

He said the main reason you want an instructor is because you want someone who values their knowledge of their students as much or even more than their knowledge of music because that's where the breakthroughs tend to be found.

I can say from experience, he is soooooo right! Having an instructor who knows me and is able to relate to and anticipate obstacles has convinced me that I am complete control of my own progress. I am SICK about how much money I wasted on the hacks at GP.

What a SCAM! And they want you to pay online for lessons BEFORE you even talk to a teacher and set up an automatic draft?!?!?! Have you ever known a company who does that who was really helping anyone but themselves? From now on, I deal with teachers at their home without talking to ANYONE but the teachers directly

software you can buy yourself and do yourself but program is same old outdated crap with new media. so mechanized that teachers are interchangeable. a couple teachers are alright shredders but can't teach. software is used to make you over look that none of them seem experienced. they don't have to make decisions, the software does it for them. why have them at all? just because you are by yourself if room with them doesn't mean you are really having private lessons. just 1-on-1 classes. expensive mistake
