Best Italian in Fort Lauderdale. There are many, many Italian restaurants in Fort Lauderdale; but this one is tops. Yeah, I know all the others, however Anthony does is right. The place is old and nostalgic, food is spectacular and the ambiance is second to none.

Best Italian Food since I lived in Manhattan. Delicious Italian food cooked to perfection. The fish dishes are also excellent.

Our waiter, Dante, was professional, attentive, and a true asset to this restaurant. We will request Dante as our waiter next time.

Awfull experience do not go there. Do not go here. They do not have honor. They do not honor reservations. They lie constantly. Well have yor table in 10 minutes over and over. 9:00 reservations walked out at 11:00 . I will never go back, and you should not go there. They give all restaurants in the area a bad name. I have eaten all over the world and have never been treated so badly

Don't bother going... it's not worth it. The only way you are getting into this place is if you are friends with the Matre'd, are family, or complain constantly....these will get you seated after a while. We waited over an hour and a half to get seated --- and that's with reservations. Was it worth the wait you ask - No. The food is good, but not worth it. It was apparent that they had enough business and didn't care if they treated some customer's unfair as I was waiting right by the Matre'd when he kept blowing people off. Don't bother going there - this was a mistake I won't repeat.

Be Aware!!!!!!. Great food but definately ask for an itemized bill at the end. Or plan on being over charged for your meals. If the waiter refuses to give you itemized prices for the food, you are getting screwed!!!!!!

If your not a "Goodfella", don't expect service. Anthony's at one time, was a great place, and it still is if you are in with the Owner or manager, otherwise consider waiting a long time for an average table, and your waiter will try to overorder for you to up the bill, and if you leave a personal item behind for a short time, don't expect to get it back, or get any help from the Restaurant.

Yes, there is some good food being served, and if you can live with the overly loud music, its an experience thats best left behind, for others to experiment with.

A guaranteed fabulous time!. The best way to describe my dining experience would be.. Lively. Anthony's runway 84 is great for special occasions or the perfect dinner, their food is obviously prepared with an true Italian passion for fresh ingredients and oversized portions. Runway 84 is a world away from "routine italien" and has become the spot I most want to come back to.

I Love Anthony's Runway 84. I am from San Francisco and discovered Anthony's Runway 84 a number of years ago from a waiter in hotel who just happened to be from Brooklyn and felt this was the best Italian restaurant around. Well a group of 12 went and had a great time. There were too many of us to be seated all together but we were accommodated and treated very well considering we had not made reservations. What sold us were the mussels. There is so much food even before your entree is brought that you can hardly eat it. I travel to Miami at least 3 times a year and always make Runway 84 a stop. Try the veal chop . It's huge (enough for 2 meals). I am surprised at some of the reviews - I have always had good service and continue to refer friends there.

Disappointed, again!. I was thrilled with the atmosphere, food and service the first few times I visisted Anthony's. In fact I recommended Anthony's to many friends. Our last TWO visits were highly disappointing. We made reservations for 8:30 and finally found ourselves with dinner at 11PM! We spent lots of time and money in the bar while we all took turns asking when we would be seated. The answer was always the same; "In a few munutes." That few minutes turned into hours and since this is not the first time this has happened, Anthony's has lost me as a customer. They don't need any more customers, since they seem to have more business than they can handle.

Enjoyable Experience. Was seated promptly; service was attentive. Advised that if it wasn't on the menu they could probably make whatever we wanted. We tried the (Dan)Marino -- psudo eggplant parm -- along with the cauliflower and regitoni. Both were excellent. Extensive wine selection. The prices were a bit high-end, so this will only be an ocassional desitination for us. All-in-all: not a bad dining experience.
