best in the south – growing up in florida, my favorite thing to do was to go out to eat . I currently live in alabama although when i return home to visit family i always make it top priority to visit marino's. when i lived in florida, i would eat marino's at least once a week. the cornish hen, bean salad, and soup is fabulous!! i have never had such great food in a comfoftable setting. i dream of the mouth wartering garlic rolls which are not avilable anywhere in alabama. oh did i mention the scrumtious pizza. everything on the menu is worth trying yum
Top Notch Dining Experience – The food and service warm your heart-- enough said. The game hen and bean salad are what dreams are made of, and they happen to be free. You can't go wrong ordering off the menu either.
The Best! – My absolute favorite restaurant on earth. Low key, no facade. Just a terrific meal at a terrific price. Tell Rose Donna sent you! You can't go wrong with this one!
AWESOME – What an awesome restaurant. The owner will always stop at your table to talk, greet you, and always asks you to come again. I can't remember the last time I was someplace where I felt so welcomed. The food is great, and always delicious, believe me I am there every weekend. I've been going for years and will be going back for many, many more to come.
Home-style Italian – Small, casual, family run(32 years), inexpensive, and consistently good Italian food. Basic fare, nothing fancy, lots of FREE appetizers, complete dinners are $10 - $13. Mangia!
a great neighborhood type place to eat – been going there for about a couple of years. the food is very good and the service is friendly and attentive. the cornish game hen appetizer and their famous bean salad are standouts. it may not be gourmet but the food is well prepared and the prices are very reasonable. it has become one of our favorite places.
Yes love this restaurant – I hope it never goes away!!! The ritual of the great food - all meals are served with Cornish Hen, 3 bean salad, soup, salad and bread. THEN your entree arrives with garlic bread. It is so yummy and predictable for the last 30 something years of my life. They opened for lunch and while I do not at all need large portions. I still would like the ritual of just a taste of all the standards at lunch too. You will become addicted,
