Great for the family!. The Museum of Discovery and Science and IMAX Theater is a fantastic place for the whole family. We first explored the first floor with all of the animals like bats, fish, alligators, and snakes. Then we went into the discovery center where littloe kids play in there own safe zone area. After we went into the IMAX Theater and saw African Adventure 3D, it was amazing seeing it on the 5 story high screen as well as it being in 3D. After that, we saw the second floor, we went on the Mars motion ride, the aviation simulators, virtual vollyball, and the mars exhibets. Also, they had a reptile demonstration that talked about alligators, snakes, and turtles. This was my families favorite part of the day. My overall experience was that I highly reconmend this museum very highly to anyone who is interested in science, animals, or who just wants to have a good time!!!

This museum is bound to become a favorite with both your children and your inner child.. In Short
Visitors can stroll through a see-through replica of a beehive or wonder at the world's largest captive indoor Atlantic coral reef bank. An early childhood Discovery Center provides stimuli for young minds, while the Space Base exhibit takes participants on a virtual voyage to the moon. Gizmo City provides hands-on examples of the building blocks of modern technology, and the Sound exhibit explores the scientific concepts behind sound and music. But the big draw is really the Blockbuster 3-D Imax Movie Theater, a state-of-the-art facility with 5-story high wrap-around screens, stadium seating, digital sound and a you-are-there immediacy that remains unmatched in South Florida. It's like the wildest Science Fair you can imagine, without all the cheesy class projects.
