Great People and Terrific Sandwiches. This place is great and the people are sweet in there own way. I eat here once a week and has nothing to do with being "friends" has to do with prompt and unbelievable food. Lot of respect for a nice comfortable "hole-in-the-wall" that does well. would and do recommend to anyone.

Best bagels in town!. My whole family looks forward to our vacations to Ft Lauderdale to visit Grandma Josie!! Next to spending time with our favorite grandma, we LOVE going to pomperdales every day for breakfast. Delicious bagels, eggs, bacon, coffee, the works!! We have lived all over the country, including NYC, and Pomperdales is our favorite deli!!!

HORRIBLE DUMP! Who wrote these reviews, the owners or their cousins?. UGH! We went here today mainly on the positive reviews. Well, after our experience there, it's clear those reviews were written by the owners and friends of this sleazy dump!

If you want to pay nine dollars for a mediocre sandwich served by a surly and impatient staff member, in a filthy tiny, room, this is the place! Seriously. The Reuben sandwich was HORRIBLE. It seemed they served corned beef instead of pastrami. The meat was barely warm and rubbery. They were VERY chintzy with the cheap russian dressing. The bread was UNTOASTED or grilled, NOT rye with seeds as expected, NOT warm at all, flimsy and tasted cheap. They gave less than a spoon of sauerkraut.

The potato and macaroni salad taste like they were bought in some industrial strength plastic tubs from a warehouse mart--horrible, and not fresh.

Then, we went to the bathroom. BAD IDEA! It's like entering the sixth circle of hell. When you go back there, the kitchen is not just dirty, messy, greasy, it is FILTHY. I'm talking, looks like a sewer in there. Bathroom toilets splattered with G-d knows what, grotesque level of grease around the ovens. All I know is that CLEARLY they are paying off the health inspector--this place should, in my opinion, be closed down for the level of disgustingness in the back!

Best Corned Beef & Pastrami and Deli anywhere!. As an ex proud New Yorker whose eaten at the Famous "Stage Deli" "Carnigies" and of course "Katzs Deli" and have had what I thought, was some of the best Corned Beef & Pastrami in town, eating at "Pomperdales" in Fort Lauderdale is truly one of the finest, most tender & moist, extremly flavorful, best tasting of any, of the huge overstuffed Corned Beef & Pastrami sandwiches on Rye, I have ever had in my life! This sandwich made by typical NYC Deli Servers, will make anyone choose "Pomperdales Deli" as their #1 prime source for Corned Beef & Pastrami Sandwiches and other super Deli foods, for as long as they live! Pass the word, this is a 10+!!!!!!

Authentic New York Deli!. The real deal, folks! You can't beat the New York style food, New York style atmosphere, and the New Yorkers behind the counters. Overstuffed sandwiches are the freshest you'll find anywhere.
