Our third visit in three years and it was very good. All the fish was very fresh and the beet salad was so refreshing. Great views and sometimes when there is a full moon, they throw a party outside. Lounge is extremely nice - upstairs.

Amazing Atmosphere, Wonderful View, Great Service!!!!!!. I had my wedding here on Sunday, this was my first time ever seeing the place. I couldn't say enough good things - WOW! Starting with the location - absolutely stunning. The backdrop was impeccable, the weather perfect! The staff treated me like a Queen!

The service was prompt, the food wonderful, and Penny, the banquet/party director was probably the best part of everything. She was so kind and understanding, from the moment I called Sea Watch with questions about the possibility of having my wedding there, all the way from Atlanta.

DON'T PAY ATTENTION TO NEGATIVE REVIEWS! I understand why people are so attached to this place, and hated to see it change, but may I say it made my wedding a memorable experience that I would change nothing about.

Great meal great place give it a try!. Have been going to the Sea Watch since i got married, has always been a great location with great views. Over the years as my taste for fine food developed my trips to the Sea Watch diminished. I was happy i ignored the poor reviews about the restaurant since the new owners took over and while some regulars miss the old somewhat bland food i was glad to see a fresh new menu obviously prepared with fresh ingredients, wonderfully prepared with grate sauces and seasoning. Took a party of six had several appetizers (conch fritters, calamari and oysters) and grouper, scallops, bouillabaisse, fried shrimp and blackened Mahi Mahi for diner everything but the oysters were some of the best i have had and by far the best in the area! Cannot wait to go back, have a reservation for just my wife and myself tonight. It is well worth a visit if you have not been back since the new owners took over!

Total Rip off!. My daughter had her wedding here and it was beautiful! No problems with the wedding. The problems came with the meal. Every part of the meal was a-la-cart. One appetizer crab cake was $14.00. I ordered Grouper. I have eaten grouper before and it is an excellent choice of fish. This grouper had bands of fat all through it. I also ordered a "loaded" baked potato and when it came it, it was small and looked like it had been reheated one too many times and it had a "pinch" of sour cream, bacon bits and cheese. It was not good at all. The portions are small. I did not complain, as I did not want to cause a problem on my daughter's special day, but I am writing a letter to the management. Don't waste your time going to this restaurant.

Overpriced!!!!!!!!!!!. This place is so expensive for what you get for food that you will be throwing away your money if you go there! Me and my wife went on vacation to Fort Lauderdale and wanted to have a nice dinner; so we went to this place and left very disappointed. I ordered a lobster and I feel that I only paid to have the shell on a fancy plate. It had almost nothing to eat and whatever pieces I was able to get was like rubber. The service is fine and the view is beatiful. So if you want to pay a high price for a nice view of the ocean and expensive snacks...go there. In my case, next time I'd ask a local person where to find a good place to eat seafood or buy a couple of non-expensive snacks and view the ocean from the balcony of hotel room.

Fast seating, the customer service was fair, beautiful view of the ocean.. I had half a dozen Oysters overpriced by .25. Sea Watch Medley its 10 dollars overpriced because you get a tiny lobster tail. The chocolate Creme Brulee was goood. Overall if you want to pay more for a nice view that's where you go.

Great service, seafood, old florida atmosphere, great managment, right on beach!, Valet are couteous, realiable, all trustworthy. I left $5 in console in car and was there after dinner!. This place has been in business for over 40 yeaars for a reason, check it out and have fun. Very Rustic but also very elegant, A++++

Good food, view and service!. Over the years I enjoy taking my company to the Sea Watch to enjoy a relaxing meal.

The food and view are great. I recommend the snapper which is very tasty and one of

my favorite. The grouper is second in line.

A nice walk along the waters edge after dining is a perfect finish to a great meal!

Fantastic food, great atmosphere. Only thing is, DO NOT VALET PARK!!!!. Have been going there for over 10 years. Fantastic food, great atmosphere, awesome wait staff. Only thing is, DO NOT VALET PARK!!!! $0.75 cents in change was missing from my car, 6 pieces of a new pack of gum was gone, and I had 13 additional miles on my brand new Z. Back tires also smoother than they were. I can't stress this enough, park yourself. Bummer of an ending to a good night out. Checked out ~10pm, 12/22/07, ticket 2-301.

Urg. I've actually been to the restruant twice since it is nearby where I lived.

The first time I had crab cakes. As far as crabcakes go, they absolutely sucked. My husband had the lobster and it was delicous.

We went back a second time. . .I had the lobster and it tasted like rubber. I almost gaged on it.

I will not be back. The food is really way below the quality I would expect.
