Great burgers. I grew up on the street behind Jack's and visited them shortly after they opened up their first location in the early 70's. Without a doubt, it is one of the best hamburgers (when topped with their mustard sauce) I have ever had, hands down. It is the standard of what a hamburger should live up to. I now live in Texas and begin to salivate every time I think about their burgers! Please open up a DFW location!!!!!

Great burgers. Was on my way to the beach looking for McDonalds...drove past this little nurger shack with a bunch of cars in the lot. Pulled a u-turn and decided to check it out. Great burgers. Your choice of quarter, third or half pound hamburger or cheesburger. Lettuce and tomatoe cost extra and come sealed in a little zip-lock bag. French fries were OK. Plenty of all the standard condiments (and some of the not-so-standard) at the counter.

Get a really great burger with a side order of nostalgia.. In Short
This burger joint is no more than a brightly lit counter, formica tables and lots of nostalgic photographs of Lauderdale before the deluge. It offers turkey, ham and grilled cheese sandwiches, but unless you're feeling contrary, go for the burgers. These are ground on site from lean beef, hand shaped into patties and grilled (not fried, baked, or broiled). Burgers arrive on a soft white bun with nothing else (lettuce and tomato cost an extra 35 cents). Add your own fixin's from the counter. Wash your burger down with an old-fashioned milkshake.

Jack's Is Great!. Jack's is great! I should know. I worked there for 9 years! "By word of mouth" is how Jack's has become famous, and that's how you know a restaurant is great! Jack's is clean and the burgers are made fresh daily. No franchise can compare! I left years ago to start another career. But I still consider Jack's team my family. You will get great service with a smile. If something is not to your liking, they'll take care of it. My children and I go when we need a "burger fix". People even come in from out of town for these great burgers! Jack (the owner) is an incredible person and his staff has been there for many years b/c of it. If you want to try something new and fresh, go to Jack's. You will leave there impressed and the experience will make you come back for more!

The Best Burger In Town. Jacks has been around since 1972, many generations from old to young love this place! The burgers are grinded then hand stamped freshly every day. They also have roast beef, turkey and ham sandwiches which are really good too. Special home made relishes that you don't see any where else are great on the burgers. Great thick shakes are to die for and fries are really good crispy or done lightly. Also hot dogs with chili or cheese, grilled onions and peppers, what ever you want. Fast friendly service and family orientated is the place for me. Everyone should try this place it is the BEST!

OK burger, skip the fries. Hey, it's a cool little place and they're doing an honest business but that's all it is... go, enjoy and make sure you try the "secret sauce." It's not all that inexpensive, either.

Great Food Great Service. This place is simply AWESOME. Juicy burgers, crisp fries, and the best chocolate shakes around. These people who knock this place are your typical McDonalds drivethrough rangers who think a good burger comes frozen. Bottom line if you would like a good FRESH buger done rite with a basket of crisp FRESH and service from friendly people this is where you need to eat.

hamburger. Nasty, tough, dry (even though I asked them to cook it for the least possible time) burger. Tasteless fries. I have no idea why people like this place. Once was enough for me.

The Freshest Meat. Jack's has the freshest burgers around. Don't be fooled by the plain storefront....and don't forget the grilled onions! Jack's ROCKS!

Nothing Special. Despite what many others may say, this place does not live up to the hype. Try the McDonald's across the street.
