Horrible. Where should I even begin. The experience with this place has never been one worth talking about. They over book, I've left this place with a nail in my tire the first time and the second time I had to wait almost 55 mins even when making reservations!! I have no time for their inability to schedule, mediocre food and average service. This city has way too many great restaurants to choose from.

Knife-wielding chefs put on a show at this communal Japanese grill.. In Short
Benihana started out as a tiny four-table restaurant in New York City's theater district before becoming an international chain. Diners sit around large tables where chefs ostentatiously chop, slice, stir-fry and grill. Entree options are simple--shrimp, chicken, steak and scallops--and preparation is uniform. Every entree comes with a similar stock of sides: rice, onion soup, shrimp appetizer, iceberg lettuce drizzled with dressing, sauteed vegetables and green tea.

Best Restaurant for Entertaining. Hibachi table seating makes this dining experience an entertaining one. I love their fried rice. Hands down Benihana makes the best fried rice. Hibachi lobster tails are better than steamed. The chef's are quite the entertainers and service is prompt and courteous. I have never had a problem at this restaurant and always look forward to my next visit. I have been visiting this restaurant for over 20 years.

SO COMMERCIAL!!. The food here is less than great! It could be possible that since it is a chain that the result is poor food quality and lacks good entertainment!

It is a must. For great food and entertainment that is unique,Benihana is a wonderful resturant. You feel as if you are in another world. It is a great getaway from the usual resturants.
