Avoid happy hour.. The appetizer specials at happy hour (30% off, not 2 for 1) are worth the trip but the service is poor. The lower bar where the special is has a lone bartender taking care of all the patrons while the dining room servers sit and talk at the upper, empty bar. However, the bartender did a great job without them. Also, beware of the vultures in disguise of meter maids. If you do not use the pay valet parking, the meter maids double park near almost expired meters waiting for thier shot.

A quintessential Fort Lauderdale watering hole for everyone from boaters to boozers.. In Short
It's a restaurant that eats like a club, really. Shooters on the Fort Lauderdale Intracoastal is a consummate watering hole--day or night--for yachtsmen and women, skippers and assorted Gilligan types. They convene here for the beautiful waterfront scenery or, more likely, the bikinied landscape that lines the restaurant's outdoor area. Shooters is not a place to go all decked out. Deck-wear, in fact, is more appropriate. The vibe is completely laid back and low-keyed, though at night, things do tend to get a bit more raucous.

The Real Ft. Lauderdale!. There is no place better than Shooters to soak up what South Florida is all about today. The view of the intercoastal is magnificent, you can tie your boat up to the dock or get there by Water Taxi as well as drive or walk. The food is exceptionally well prepared, and healthy. The prices are moderate to inexpensive. The portions are huge, the wine and beer selection enormous and the staff friendly and nearly psychic. This is the place for casual dining in Fort Lauderdale!

Knouck-Knock. This place has it all. Good food, atmosphere, quick courteous service and all the beautiful people to watch and maybe catch. You get good value for your night out and wiil go back again.

food & fun. Our dinner and drinks were excellent here, we enjoyed being on the water and taking the water taxi to and from on the intercoastal. The service was great and the people were too.
