What People Are Saying About Culture Room

In Short – The kind of people who seek solace in the Culture Room are not put off by its location in a strip mall. What matters here is that local and national alternative bands and rock bands consider this place their musical Petri dish for testing new sounds and resurrecting old ones. Bands such as Flock of Seagulls and Warrant have played here, as have tons of up-and-coming acts.

it's a cool place to see a show. there's not a bad spot in the house. good sound. and with shows being at night there is plenty of free parking.
Parking Probs
by mmunevar
Only park at a meter or the club lot! An extra word of caution. We read the previous review of parking, but didnt think much of it and paid the consequences. It is very tempting to park at a nearby lot. We had all three cars in our party towed in a matter of 15 minutes. A word of wise to the clubowners, this is a major problem, so they should notify their loyal customers. At $80 a tow, we were broke and sober. : (

Props for making a scene

South Florida's support of live music is pathetic at best..... EXCEPT for a little gem known as the Culture Room. This tiny place is the best place to see a live show in SoFLa.... Not to mention their willingness of bringing in great bands that the rest of the country gets to see.... SUPPORT YOUR SCENE-- GO SEE A SHOW.
- Pros: Cheap Tickets, Great Acts, Good Crowd
The Details on Culture Room
Know Before You Go:
This smallish, grungy club is packed with music junkies, groupies and, rumor has it, talent scouts from the big record labels looking to discover the next big deal. The goth-esque decor is fitting for a place in which a group called the Mary Tyler Whores have headlined.
