sky line sucked.
I hadd a freind who worked there for three years and i never went in. on a whim a dicided to try it out. boy that was a mistake. when i went in there where workes just lounging on the bar so when i went to sit at a table it was a mess there were stains and left over food still on the tables. when i recived my order a 4 way onion which consisted of blan noodles a disgusting chili the only good thing was the cheese. when i was paying i asked about how they made there chili so i could avoid it in the next time i was offered a simmaler chili. to my disgust the staff at the register and the other so called "cook" had no idea and i was told there chili gets made in ohio and shiped down with all their other menu items. and there was no actual cooking just re heating and serving. save your money and the hour of disgust after eating their slop. mc donalds would be a better place to eat. this store dosent desirve a rating but it is required
Meaty, Sweetness covered in Cheese.... lots of cheese.
The service was good, but the food was awful. We told the server we had never been to the restaurant, but no one warned us that there was sweetness in the chili. The secret sauce looked unappetizing and tasted even worse. The huge amount of cheese could not mask the odd mixture of flavors. Everything appears to be premade and arrives at the table in approximately 5 seconds. If I wanted something that had been sitting around for hours I would have gone to Wendy?s and had chili. The only redeeming qualities were the free york patties and crackers.
Afterwards, we went for ice cream that had less chocolate, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Maybe in Ohio people like to eat sweet, meaty food, but we hillbillies will not be returning.
This is Cincinatti Chilli, not tex mex chilli. BIG difference! Cincinatti Chilli is a sweetish meat sauce that is poored over spegetti noodles. I recommend the 5 way, which is with cheese, kidney beans, and onions. Muy bien ;-)
The Skyline on Federal is a bit hard to pull into if traffic is bad. Definately worth a try if you've never had it.
