Best for steaks. I have eaten here many times. Usually, I order the prime rib and it is delicious.

Drinks are not good. I had dinner first time Alexanders in Ft. Lauderdale on Federdal Highway yes the food was excellent, I do enjoy a drink before dinner . my drink Johnny Walker Black on the rocks all restaurants I go to In Ft. Lauderdale give a drink on the rocks filled to the top. Alexanders does not for the prince I think I should get more then half a glass on rocks. Did want to say anything but really did not like it . My husband was really annoyed and some of friends said that is just the way they make the drinks to me not O.K. maybe if I do go back I should say something just wanted to let you know. thank You Ann Penatello

One of my favorite restaurants in Fort Lauderdale. This is one of my fovorite restaurants. Whenever I have out of town guests, J. Alexander's is my first thought for dining with them. I have never been disappointed with their food and beverages and my guests are always satisfied with whatever they select. Not inexpensive, but the quality and ambience is well worth the price.

Poor selection, High Price. This was an average place to eat. Nice atmosphere, but poor selection of food. The food was average. The prices were steep for what you get. If your out to impress someone this might be alright, but if your really hungry, you might want to drive on past.
