Rescued us during holiday!

During vacation in Florida, we found that we left our much loved standard poodles food at the last rest stop. YIKES! Claude has food allergies and can only eat certain brands of food. We were referred to Animal House Pet Supplies as a source for Wolf King dog food, which we use. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly, and even suggested a treat that would be compatible with Claude's diet! We even had the opportunity to visit some of the other shops and purchase great gift items. We will always return to Animal House Pet Supplies when in Florida!

Knowledge and delightful personnel

The staff was very knowledgeable in holistic and organic food. Since, I was a first time buyer I wanted to go a speciality store. They really took their time in explaining to me the different brands and products they offered. They were well stocked with multiple brands and products to choose from. Also, the store was pretty easy to find and it is a shopping plaza that offers other boutique shopping...BONUS!!! Definitely will be back and telling all my friends about the store.

Rude, not very knowledgeable

I thought this store was below average when I saw the lack of parking and the lack of cleanliness in the store and the lack of selection of high quality dog foods but the owners behavior was totally uncalled for. Some people just seem to think they have the right to be rude to almost anyone. I don't even remember now what I asked that set him off but he really was dismissive and rude. I was so shocked by his behavior I simply turned around and walked out. In retrospect I think I asked him about a food he didn't carry called Brothers Complete that a neighbor uses and her

dog stopped itching on it. He had nothing but negative comments which I also found rude but later my neighbor Lucy showed me on DogFoodAdvisor that it had their highest 5 star rating. He could have just told me he didn't carry it - he didn't need to be so rude.

Awful attitude and rude

sorry but it doesn't even deserve one star. I can deal with little to no parking, dirty store, but lack of up to date supplies and terrible rude behavior of the owner is unforgivable as far as I'm concerned. Asked questions about nutrition and when I had the temerity to question his recommendation because the food was full of grain he became rude and dismissive. Shouldn't treat a customer poorly just because you don't know the answers. I'll be looking elsewhere for dog food in the future.

Irritating and Uninformed

No parking, dirty and not much stock of quality dog foods. Asked about grain and white potato free foods and was told that grain and white potato were fine for dogs despite the fact that the dog food review site they recommend says the opposite. Owner went off about "fad" diets and after a bit I was so disgusted with his attitude and lack of nutritional knowledge I couldn't get out of there fast enough. Don't know how they stay in dog food business just parroting same nonsense the box stores parrot. Grain is NOT a food for carnivores. What he calls a "fad" diet is actually the latest advancement in dog nutrition that has no grain or white potato but he still living in the dark ages apparently. Sad for dogs that rely on his recommendations.
