The Best Steakhouse In Ft Lauderdale!!!!!. Jackson's is the place if you want steak!!! I love good food and I travel a lot for work. In all these cities I am fortunate enough to eat at some very well know and great dining establishments. Jackson's ranks up there with some of the best steakhouse's around. The ambience and service are impeccable. The menu was good. They have stuck to the things that made this restaurant and do them very well. It is in a great location for a night out on the town. They also have a great wine list. This is restaurant that you will keep going back to.

Predictable Boring Food Reminicent Of The Cold War Era.. Do not go to Jackson's Steakhouse if you are a foodie; you will be disappointed. I ate on someone else's dime, and I'm still complaining...

The steak I had was under-seasoned and did not resemble prime-grade at all (in reality it was probably 'select' or most likely 'choice' grade, which is obvious to someone like myself but most people haven't a clue). I've made better steaks at home, but then again I've been working on the perfect steak for almost 10 years. The sides were decent, but how hard is it to mess up potatoes? The chocolate souffle also happened to be the worst I've ever tried. The texture resembled some sort of industrial foaming agent instead of the Escoffier inspired richness one would expect from such a seemingly high-end restaurant. In my opinion, for the price, there were just too many details overlooked. This would be a fine choice for the schmoozing, 'meat and potato' business man that never took the time to study the fine culinary techniques of the masters or never ventured outside of his 'comfort zone' . As for the 'front of house' service, it felt cold and uninviting; even snooty (a smile and eye-contact would be nice, Mr. Waiter). Just about every detail of this establishment seemed to be stuck in a bygone era (not in a good way) right down to the brass 'adornments' and celebrity lockers. Now, I do understand that this is a steakhouse; but does that mean that the menu items have to be predictable and boring? You can bring a little more excitement to this cuisine. We've come a long way culinarily since Richard Nixon resigned.

A restaurant of this presumed pedigree must always stay relevant.

Absolutely Wonderful. Our experience at Jackson's this past Saturday night was absolutely wonderful. The food and service were fantastic. We had a wonderful time and a wonderful meal and plan on returning again very soon. I highly recommend this steakhouse.

i've had better. although a good steak is a good steak, this place is more for the name sake, than it's steak. the food quality is good, but not the BEST. there is much better down the street. eating here is for the prestige, not so much the food

Best Steaks in town. I have visited Jackson Steakhouse on a couple of occassions now and can honestly say that they offer the best selection of steaks in the area. The atmosphere is perfect and the service is superb. This is a MUST do in dining experinces.

This is THE Steakhouse of Steakhouses!!. Jacksons' Steakhouse defines what elegant dining is. I have visited many steakhouses and can confidently state that Jacksons' is representative of fine dining and exceptional service. The first view of the eye-catching cocktail lounge is only a small sampling of what awaits one in the grandiose dining room. The menu boasts an adequate selection of steaks and an extensice wine list for any connoisseur. I strongly recommend Jacksons' Steaksouse for all occasions and events...this is fine dining at it's best!!!

Elegant ambience, impeccable service and excellent beef make for a prime steakhouse.. The Scene
Bronze lions at the brass and glass entry welcome diners to the posh ambience of an exclusive club. The convivial bar leads to a dining area swathed in understated luxury. Tray ceilings with curved mahogany borders are edged in delicate violet light. Heraldic lions on etched glass separate tables boasting orchid sprays and sedately upholstered seating. Midnight blue velvet drapes, brass lamps and oils in gilded frames add another touch of class.

The Food
Jackson's silver-platter steaks are aged, center cut, USDA Prime beauties. The filet is lean; the hefty rib chop abundantly marbled. And nothing beats a New York strip for flavor. Smother them with a woodsy mushroom melange drizzled with olive oil. Jackson's does not live by meat alone. Cashew-encrusted sea bass with blueberry demi-glace is superb. Puffy Grand Marnier souffle makes a perfect ending, though mascarpone "mousse" over berries lacks the egg whites or whipped cream to deserve the label.

Understated Elegance. After several visits to Jackson's, I have finally found "my restaurant." As a businessman who travels to most US cities, I know the real thing compared to the pretenders. The prime steaks are the best I've ever had, the service is professional without the immaturity we often see in chain restaurants, and the ambience is without a flaw. Jackson's style and execution is 5 stars.
