We are from Milwaukee and read a good and bad review about this place, so we give them a try. The food so good and resonable price. Sushi are fresh and well made. Service was nice and friendly. Next time if we in fort lauderdale we will go back there.
If Sushi is your dish and your focus is quality and value (not big fish tanks) ... BINGO ... you've found it!.
We're local to Fort Lauderdale and eat out often. We were led to this restaurant through reviews ... and they were right on! Excellent Sushi with a host of creative and reasonably priced options. The facility is small and a bit crowded ... so this may rule out big groups. If you're a couple or a foursome with a high appreciation for quality food, artfully prepared and don't mind a less than glorious seating atmosphere, you'll probably add this to your list of places you'll be coming back to soon.
horrible service, low quality fish.
originally from NY, i've eaten at many many sushi restaurants. granted it's fort lauderdale and not as many sushi restaurants are around as in NY, it still isn't an excuse for the low quality of fish that they use. the so called "red hot chili pepper roll which has tuna inside and outside smelled fishy and the supposed 'spicy sauce' was any ole hot sauce that you would find in any supermarket - something like red devil, tobasco, or along those lines. from what i know, that is not the kind of 'spicy sauce' that you put on a sushi roll! what's even worse are the prices. not incredibly expensive at all, however definetly not worth the money. i've had better fresh sushi for less than what they charge. and the service? forget about it. waitresses were a bit aggressive, would almost chuck the plate on the table, and are in a hurry to move you out as soon as you're done. please, save your bucks for another place.
