Smells like dirty dishwater, slow service, mediocre food.
Because I've enjoyed Outback in the past I gave this restaurant one too many chances. This is my third and LAST time eating at this Outback. Each time the place had the smell of dirty dishwater and the food was very mediocre. Tonight took the cake though. The service was exceedingly slow, got there 6:30, left at 8:15 PM and this is a Tuesday (3/29/11). All we ordered were salads and steaks, no appetizers. I ordered my steak medium and it came out well done.
I will not eat here again, feel foolish having eaten there three times (fool me once), and I strongly discourage anyone else from wasting their time and money. Just one whiff and you'll know that this is all true.

Australian tchotchkes and brews give this quintessentially American restaurant a distinctive Down Under flavor..
In Short
Boomerangs, Aussie flags, kangaroo portraits and faux aboriginal art honor the homeland's wilderness, but Outback delivers a polished version of rusticity with varnished blond-wood booths with matching wainscoting and casually uniformed waitstaff. Besides more than a half-dozen cuts of steak, diners can pick from large-portioned entrees like ribs, chops and shrimp or chicken "on the barbie." The Bloomin' Onion, a large onion dipped in batter and deep-fried, is an appetizer with a following.
