Half & Half. Marked with 2 $$ signs. I believe 2 dinners with 2 colas + tip should be less than $40 to get that 2$$ rating. The meals were half good (meat and beans) and half bad (chicken very dry and rice very al dente). Not quite good enough for my return any time soon.
Best Fajitas Anywhere!.
It is rare to find a good Mexican Restaurant anywhere outside of LA and Arizona. This gem is in Pompano Beach of all places. We never had much luck here until we discovered Cielito Lindo.
We chose the Low Carb Chicken Fajitas. Other than the refried beans, and the absence of overabundant oinions found in standard fajitas, there was a lot of fresh red and green bell peppers.
The chunks of white meat chicken must have weighed a pound or so and the taste was out of this world.
The leftovers were sufficient for yet another dinner. Service was fantastic and the price for dinner and two magnum Margharitas was under $30.00 bucks!
Do not miss this restaurant if you are in Pompano Beach. Next time we will try the Ropas Vieja. Cuban food in a Mexican Place....Go figure.....But if it is as good as the Fajitas.......WOW!
Editorial Review by Christy Buena. Authentic Mexican cuisine and frozen margaritas areserved in a South of the border atmosphere.
WORST MEXICAN FOOD I HAVE EVER HAD. Rude Management. Inflexible chef. The chef must have poured the whole container of salt in my food. When I confronted the man that called himself the manager, he became rude and loud. Additionally, he did not let me finish speaking when he walked away from me. IF YOU ARE HISPANIC AND HAVE EVER EATEN AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD.... DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE.
Cielito lindo. This is the best restaurant ever!!!! I go there once a week for their lunch special you get all you can eat chips with the best salsa, soup, and fajitas (they are great) for $9.00 it is amazing. Their fried ice cream is also great and so are their margaritas. Try it you won't be disappointed. Also, they have two soups at lunch time chicken and rice which is my favorite and a creamy soup which my husband always gets. Everyone needs to try this place I just can't say enough about it!
Autentico!!. That's "authentic," if you don't speak Spanish...but if you do speak Spanish and you know your Mexican food and atmosphere, you won't be disappointed. It's such a great restaurant -- looks like a hole-in-the-wall from the outside, which in my opinion is part of the overall deliciousness of the place. Great food, great staff, great margaritas.
Fantastic. Best Mexican food I've had in a long time. Service was great, even though the restaurant was packed, was very pleased with our whole experience.
Spicy Delight. We came in from out of town and were referred here by the hotel. What a great recommendation!! The food was great and the margaritas were awesome. There was plenty of good food on our plates and the service was very nice. We recommended it to our other friends visiting Ft. Lauderdale also and they loved it too.
